Landmark Group officially launches the first Centrepoint in City Mall

Centrepoint, is one of the Group's core retail outlet bringing together fashion and convenience through four internationally acclaimed brands: Babyshop (toys, clothing, furniture for children up to 16 years), Splash (clothing, fashion apparel and accessories for men, women and teens), Shoe Mart (footwear and accessories for men, women and children) and Lifestyle (home décor, furnishing, gifts, makeup and perfumes.)

Anchored in City Mall and spread over two levels with a total retail area of 44,356 sq. ft., Centrepoint is a leading one-stop shopping destination for the whole family. It has been designed to reflect the dynamism and diversity of the brands it represents, while offering great value for money in a visually exciting shopping atmosphere.

The store's launch featured a comprehensive entertainment program with freestyle basketball players, break dancers, ribbon performers, a kids corner, a DJ and a live radio show animated by Radio One's Maximus.

Speaking from Dubai, Micky Jagtiani - Chairman, Landmark Group said: "We are pleased to announce the official opening of the first Centrepoint in Lebanon. Centrepoint has received tremendous success in the Middle East, and currently operates 73 stores across 9 countries. The launch of our Lebanon operations is an important step in our growth strategy. For us it is an important market as it gives us exposure to an audience that is clued on to the evolving lifestyle and fashion trends across the world. Through Centrepoint, we aim to provide a complete shopping experience for the entire family - from the latest in fashion & footwear trends, to cosmetics, home accessories and even products for new mothers and children."

Re: About: product production! - At the end of the day, having a patent, copyright or trademark are pretty much useless because if the person who infringes on your legal rights and has more money than you... they'll bleed you dry (i.e. outlast you by being able to pay legal costs) long before you can finish the lawsuit. For instance, let's say the City of Toronto copied my artwork. Do you really think I can file a lawsuit and win against the City of Toronto?? Not a chance. Lawyers will try to tell you differently, but that's only because they want your business.

BNI Groups - do they work? BNI Groups - do they work? - Hi Lesley, From the members in my Mastermind Group I've heard a number of positive and negative things about BNI Groups. Just like a Mastermind Group, it all depends on who the people are. If the personalities fit and the members can add value to your business it can be worth checking out. The best bet is to go to a meeting as a guest to get a sense of who is in the group and if it is for you. It doesn't cost you anything except a little extra sleep the morning of. Good luck!
