Sanjeev Kapoor and Better Value Brands launch 1st Global Chain of Indian Restaurants

Indii will be different from other Indian restaurants in not just the kind and quality of food it serves patrons, but also in the experience it offers. It will be the place for food lovers to 'eat, shop, relax' and take home with them signature Indii food products such as sauces, chutneys, special spices and other gourmet ingredients. Indii promises its patrons Indian food that is chic and healthy in an ambiance that matches the dynamic lifestyle of today. It will appeal to the young and old alike, whilst it continues to draw Indian and international audiences in its fold.
Sale of food products will be another lucrative source of revenue for the franchisee. Speaking at the launch, Master Chef and gourmet food expert, Sanjeev Kapoor said, "Indian food offers a palette of flavours with aromas that travel far and wide. As more and more food lovers enjoy Indian cuisine, it was imperative to put together a product that was 'Indian food of today and tomorrow' and would integrate a fine blend of taste, health and tradition. Indii is a concept that was simply waiting to happen.
My passion for food is perfectly complemented in the proven business experience of the Better Value Brands Team." BVB Limited is an established corporate entity with diversified interests in the fields of fitness, education, arts and culture. In a short span of time, it has successfully established several leading brands with a national footprint in a combination of company-owned and franchise outlets.
Promoted by Vinayak Gawande, Harsha Bhatkal and Anant Gawande, BVB carries the heritage of the 83-year-old Popular Prakashan Group and the over 50 years old Gawande Consultants. This group is one of the promoters of Talwalkar Better Value Fitness, Brainworks Educational Resources and Foundation B&G.
Harsha Bhatkal, Director, Better Value Brands Limited, said "At BVB, we've enjoyed taking on successful brands and giving them a pan-India presence. For a company that traverses fitness, education and the cultural arts, food was perhaps the next logical vertical for us to occupy. With a proven track-record in creating national brands, and given Sanjeev's expertise with food and successfully running award-winning restaurants, we are proud to present Indii!"
Considering the strong profile of Mr. Anant Gawande and his team at Better Value Brands, Indii Food Franchise is soon going to expand aggressively by franchising.
