With improving consumer sentiments we are planning for profitable expansion for Wills Lifestyle across the markets. We plan to increase the Wills Lifestyle network to 80 stores in next 3 months, through a mix of more stores in existing markets and expanding the footprint in smaller markets through the franchising model. Going forward we shall continue to open stores in Tier 2 & 3 cities as part of the Wills Lifestyle’s expansion plans”

Wills Lifestyle Apparel Business Opportunity is available only for enterpreneurs in Tier 2 and 3 Towns. Similar to other franchise opportunities like IMS, Barista, Wills Lifestyle too follows this format.

He further added, “It is our endeavour to make fashion more accessible as we target multiple consumer segments, enter new geographies, open more stores and make our products more appealing. The thrust will be to nurture markets, generate higher trials and develop lasting relationships with our customers.”

We are poised to grow at 25 % this year. The retail scenario has always been dynamic with the constant emergence of new market places and shopping catchments and the recent development of modern formats. With the year expected to see strong growth and the brand expansion plans intact, Wills Lifestyle’s marketing strategies will revolve around taking the brand message in an impactful manner to the targeted consumers. The creative strategy will focus on showcasing the products in an inspirational manner.

Re: Franchising? Why pay franchise fees? Re: Franchising? Why pay franchise fees? -
In addition, a good franchise in the proper location can translate into a license to print money... so why not?[/quote:2mozv38x] I've seen franchise stores in great locations that failed - I don't know that I'd call it a license to print money. People should have a better chance of making it, but its still not guaranteed. Even with the established formula, there are people who won't make it. Much to consider before starting any business - a franchise or a business from the ground up. I was just thinking about something that I've discussed with people before - what about the potential pitfalls of being linked with other stores with a mega franchise. Say that one Papa John's gave lousy service or served a lousy pizza - there are plenty of people who don't realize different people own and run different stores and some of these will assume that all of the stores have lousy pizza. There are many reasons why different stores can use the same ingredients and the same portioning charts and still turn out a very different product. We dealt with this in the college town I worked in - actually all 3 stores I worked in served some college campus and that means you are dealing with people who have dealt with a wide variety of stores - all under the same company name. The other side of the college issue - is whether they are more likely to order from a store with a familiar name or not. Lots of variables and possibilities to consider. Shri

It began as This Month, a guide for tourists, and morphed into Executive Lifestyle.[/quote:8mkh1lv7] Hi Barbara, I find this story about Bill and Heidi Dittmar's success to be especially interesting! Would you happen to know what the catalyst or tipping point was for their change from a guide for tourists to an Executive Lifestyle magazine? Thanks
Re: Top 9 Franchises for 2009 Re: Top 9 Franchises for 2009 - Although I will probably never buy a franchise, this post is really interesting to me. I'm very surprised at some of the names on the list. I think someone should start a franchise in slightly used clothing/shoes. We have a couple of really nice 2nd hand stores near me and they are doing REALLY well right now as people are trying to pinch pennies in the recession.

Re: Art of Marketing Re: Art of Marketing -
Differences, at some basic level, will always level the playing field - for the better. Take a look at the franchise fast food industry. Yes, the top concepts are there year after year, but if you take a step back, smaller concepts are always gaining market share. People love fast food. But people also love variety. Apply this to the Art of Marketing, there is a customer base everytime - however, its more how much of an artist you are in your customers eyes, not yours keep in mind.[/quote:zr4fnhdv] Hi theFranchiseMarket, Can you expand and give an example on your comment about "smaller concepts"?
