Franchises that Cater to Consumers’ Summertime Needs see Business Heat Up

Anticipation seems to fill the air in the summer as people of all ages look forward to spending time with family and friends, taking in the sunshine and enjoying a taste of freedom. As consumers embrace all that summer brings, businesses that help people make the most of the season are experiencing increased demand. From well-known lodging franchises like Choice Hotels International, to health club concepts like Anytime Fitness and moving franchises such as Two Men and a Truck, numerous businesses featured on Franchise Solutions' business directory cater consumers' summertime needs.

Choosing the Right Hotel can Make or Break a Vacation

Lodging accommodations can make the difference between a great trip and a mediocre one, which is why many travelers opt to stay at well-known hotel chains. By offering the same or similar accommodations, amenities and services, at all locations, trusted hotel franchises attract a loyal following of customers who take confidence in knowing they're booking their stay at a property that will meet their needs and expectations. The Choice Hotels International franchise opportunity provides aspiring business owners with the chance to leverage this powerful, instant, built-in consumer loyalty and become part of the lucrative hotel industry.

With over 65 years of industry experience, Choice Hotels International is one of the leading hotel franchisors in the world. Comfort Inn®, Quality®, Clarion®, Cambria Suites®, MainStay Suites®, Rodeway Inn® and Ascend Collection® are among the company's 11 popular brand concepts. Choice Hotels International franchisees receive all of the tools and resources necessary to run a top hotel franchise; including a reservation delivery system and co-op marketing programs that drive guests to their hotel, as well as complete training and ongoing support from a team of dedicated experts.

Shaping up for Summer

For many beach-goers, gearing up for summer involves squeezing in additional time at the gym. Health club franchises, like Anytime Fitness, that are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, make it easier and more convenient to incorporate exercising into already jam-packed days. With Anytime Fitness' membership reciprocity program- which provides complimentary access to the other Anytime Fitness locations in 45 different states and Canada- members can also keep fit when they're away from home. By offering the ultimate in convenience, Anytime Fitness franchisees develop a large membership base.

With people juggling hectic schedules and with the growing emphasis on health and wellness, now is an ideal time to own a 24/7 health club franchise. In addition to benefitting from owning a business that meets the needs of busy, health-conscious consumers, Anytime Fitness franchisees also enjoy the advantages of owning a business that features minimal staffing requirements and has been recognized as a top franchise by Entrepreneur magazine, Franchise Business Review and USA Today.

On the Move

In addition to the legions of people embarking on summer vacations, millions of people are also hitting the road during the summer months in order to relocate. Moving can be a very arduous, disruptive and time consuming process therefore many families choose to move during the summer when school is out. In fact, approximately 19 million American households move each year, and 11 to 13 percent of those moves occur during the summer months (compared to eight percent or less during the other months of the year).

Two Men and a Truck, is a leading moving franchise that simplifies the relocation process by offering consumers a range of packing and moving services and supplies. The Two Men and a Truck franchise opportunity provides would-be business owners with the chance to own an in-demand business in the stable moving industry. Previous moving industry experience is not necessary to join the leading moving franchise, as Two Men and a Truck franchise owners receive a complete business system that includes comprehensive training, and franchisees focus on managing the business, not loading and unloading trucks.

Well-known franchise brands that experience strong demand throughout the year as well as an uptick in business during the summer months, offer prospective business owners considerable advantages.

I think it's a good angle that they have with the diet program but not enough positioning to make it standout or justify that $100+$40. Consumers look for value these days.
franchisebrief.com good clean design franchisebrief.com good clean design - I actually really like the design - it's clean and not busy. The information is easy to find. You mentioned you didn't want to monetize from the site thru the use of adwords but what about JV'ing with all or most of the Franchises you are referring people to. Is that possible in the Franchise industry?
