Franchising Continues to Work Better Than a Stand-Alone Business

Before you make your final decision to start a business, you are supposed to go through some necessary steps and take a lot of additional decisions. Just for instance, setting up a business all by yourself requires you to:

· Select the kind of trade you want to invest in,
· Search for a perfect location, ensuring that your business will work well there,
· Arrange for financiers or loan and win over them by explaining your business plans,
· Set up a effective business plan,
· Make the entire arrangement within your budget, and many more!

If you wish get rid of all these hassles and make a smooth admission into the business world, a preferred way is starting a franchise business. A franchise business is a much better alternative of initiating a business and gaining easy and quick returns on your investment.

· A franchise is an independent operation that makes you a part of an already-established brand. You don’t have to be apprehensive about the initial success of your trade, since the brand is already well known. You are likely to get customers from day one. Unlike a stand-alone business, where it takes several years in developing a brand name, a franchising business is an already successful concept.

· When you buy a franchise, the franchisors are always there to support you in running the business. Since they have already achieved success after establishing the brand, it’s easy for them to transfer the key secrets behind their achievement. They are always there to assist you in marketing your business and crafting a killer business plan for you. Thus, the additional risks pertaining to the business is much lower compared to a stand-alone one.

· In a stand-alone business prior experience or knowledge is a must, unlike a franchise where even a novice can turn into a businessman! All you require is the zeal to learn and excel in the field. An inexperienced person finds it tough to gather investors or financiers for his business. But in a franchise business, the franchisors help you in arranging loans, selecting real estate, getting permits, surveying market and even in decorating the store. Moreover, there’s no additional hassle of selecting a logo or arranging for a license, as you can use the already trademarked logo of the franchisor.

· To make things easier, the franchisor provides its franchisees with the necessary training and support. Thus, for all aspects of business operation, the franchisor is there to assist you, starting from assisting in settling on the price to helping you in taking any other major decision.

· Any business has its allied problems. A stand-alone requires you to settle all by yourself. However, the support system in a franchise business can pull you out of any trouble related to your trade.

· A franchisee showers you with good discounts from suppliers/manufacturers owing to the sheer size of the order. Thus, if compared to stand-alone business, franchisees can sell the products at a much lower price, thus attracting more customers and making higher profits.
