Tutoring Portion of Franchise Industry Thriving
The franchise industry is doing a great business, despite the increasing concern regarding slow economy. While some traditional franchise businesses are experiencing a saturation point, there are various new categories that are emerging at a rapid pace. Tutoring franchises from the children franchise category is such an area. There are several reasons why people are starting a franchise of tutoring companies and here are some of them:
The first reason why people are rushing to buy a franchise from this category is that today parents are more aware of the limitations of the public schools. Hence, they want to compensate that with quality tutoring from reputed tutoring franchises. Secondly, the students themselves know how tough the competition is at the top-level prestigious colleges. So, they want to improve their SAT scores and a little tutoring helps in a big way in achieving dream results. Moreover, there are many among us who have learning disabilities like dyslexia and ADHD. Such students need to be taught in a special way, which unfortunately is sometimes lacking in public schools. The tutoring franchises help these children to attend schools without difficulty by supplementing the education received at school with their own classes.
The industry got a major boost when the “No Child Left Behind Act” was signed in 2001 and passed as legislation. It helped children, who have been getting low scores for the last three years, to use federal funds to get tuitions from private tutoring companies. It swarmed the tutoring companies with government sponsored students. As a result, even franchisees just starting a franchise found themselves knee deep in work! One more reason why this category is experiencing such demand for its franchise business for sale offers is that many of them are low cost franchises. A lot of them need very low overhead charges and the ROI are very good. Lastly, since the service provided helps the community and our future generation, the feeling of doing something good is always there when you are running a tutoring franchise.
