Searching for new employees can be an arduous, time-consuming task, and many businesses wish they didn't have to bother. There are CVs to trawl through, interviews to conduct and competence tests to carry out. That's why many companies turn to recruitment agencies to do the hard work for them.

A recruitment agency franchise will gather CVs from a wide variety of people looking for work and match their skills and experience to any vacancies that arise. For employers this means the right workers will literally turn up on their doorstep, and for job seekers, having an agency sift through vacancies to find the ones of interest is an attractive choice.

So why not take a slice of this fast expanding pie and invest in an employment agency franchise? With millions of people out there looking for work and companies eager to pay agencies to find the right candidates, success is almost guaranteed.

One of the most important skills for any franchisee in the employment agency sector are people skills, since dealing with a wide variety of people, both employers and potential employees, is what the job is all about. Franchisees must be passionate about what they do and eager to help people find a job that's right for them. In this sense the personal rewards can be immense.

But financial rewards can also be great too if the business is managed successfully. Employers looking for new workers will pay a recruitment agency for their services, such as finding and interviewing possible candidates. The advantage of setting up a franchise is that the business will already have a number of loyal of employers on its books, usually large employers based in various locations who are always on the look out for new staff.

However, where this is not the case franchisers will provide guidance and support to help the franchisee build up a local customer base. Marketing and advertising support, as well as the use of an established brand name, should make this much easier.

Conducting extensive research into employer and employee demand is essential before choosing to invest in a franchise. Some franchises offer recruitment services across all sectors, but many specialise in particularly industries, such as catering, office work or construction.

Setting up a specialist franchise could be a wise move, but it's important to determine where the demand for such jobs is before making any decisions. Some towns and cities are filled with legal firms and banks seeking highly trained, financially literate people, while others will be carrying out major construction projects and will therefore need plenty of employees to do building work. So how well a franchisee determines the local job market could be the key to whether they succeed or not.

Franchising is not for the faint hearted. It requires hard work, dedicated, and a lot of business sense. Franchisees in this particular business should have strong office skills and be extremely organised. Excellent communication skills are also a must, as is a friendly manner when dealing with clients. But for those who have the necessary abilities and the drive to make it work, investing in an employment agency franchise could turn out to be an extremely worthwhile career move.

I previously used writers I found online as well as writing agencies but I always ended up in problems. Writers would change often, style and quality varied a lot, admin things like legal, payments, etc. took to much of my time... Even working through an agency didn't help things much. With this new requirement I'd like to do organize it properly from the start. What's the best way to ensure consistent, high quality, consistent style, unique writing ? I can think of two options: 1. Work though an agency. Can you help me recommend an agency which will take the project seriously? I don't want an agency that will just outsource my writing to an Indian writer they found on some board. Agency should ensure consistent editing, create guidelines to help new writers get up to speed, maintain a knowledgebase about the topic, etc. Or am I asking for too much? 2. Hire an editor / project manager who can help me with hiring writers, editing, maintaining consistency, checking for plagiarism etc. If you think this is better, where can I find a person who would work with me on a long term contract basis? Why is one approach better than other? What is more cost effective? My main concern is to spend least of my personal time on this and to get consistent output. Oh, and I need that somebody to have an understanding of web and SEO which is why I'm hoping that I will get some direction here. I'm not looking for the cheapest option. I'm always paying above average rate. I also have quite realistic expectations. For example, for some of my topics I was paying a writer for more than a month just to let him get up to speed with a topic before I expected any output (only to lose him after 2 months because agency screwed him over). As for writing, I will need almost everything - blog posts (ghost written and others), web content, PR, white papers, brochures, pitch letters, articles, etc. Coming topics are only about 10% usual web related and SEO topics. Rest are management across cultures; globalization; offshore IT outsourcing; executive headhunting; M&As; management consulting, etc. Let me know if you can recommend some serious agency or if you know somebody who could help me as an editor / project manager. Or, if you can't recommend anybody, where should I look for such services?

Each Franchise is different! Each Franchise is different! - No two franchises are alike. Build the fee structure that makes most sense for all parties involved, franchisor, franchisee, and vendors. Yes vendors, some franchises take the the % that vendors (for example coke and pepsi) give them and contribute those to the advertising fund. Many franchises don't manage the advertising fund by themselves but seek franchisees to have a say in how the money is spent, some times thru regional franchisee groups. Speak to a few of the franchise development companies (franchise mills) be careful for the fill in the blank, one size fits all franchise development companies, those companies seldom produce successful franchise systems.

And that's what franchising is all about. Franchising is not for an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur will do his own thing. People who buy franchises want a turn key business, with a proven model. Franchising in the US had never been that good. I don't have the exact numbers in mind but I know for sure that franchising is growing more and more as people are getting more and more aware of this business model.
