Non-Traditional Sites For Franchises

Many franchisors are looking into non-traditional locations as a way to increase franchise sales and royalty streams.

According to a report from market research firm Technomic, food service sales in 2010 were projected to rise at colleges and universities, senior living centers, supermarkets, primary and secondary schools, and military bases; remain flat at limited service restaurants, convenience stores, hospitals and long-term care facilities; and continue to decline at full-service restaurants.*

Non-traditional sites are often described as those with a captive market, and where the franchise is not a destination – in other words, not a street side location or what we’ve always considered “main street” site.

Many franchisors are seeking to sell their brand within established shops. In these scenarios, the franchisor must be open to sometimes significant changes in the franchise agreement to accommodate the new dynamic of non-traditional sites.

franchisebrief.com good clean design franchisebrief.com good clean design - I actually really like the design - it's clean and not busy. The information is easy to find. You mentioned you didn't want to monetize from the site thru the use of adwords but what about JV'ing with all or most of the Franchises you are referring people to. Is that possible in the Franchise industry?

Clothing Franchises Clothing Franchises - I believe that there are quite a few franchises for larger brands such as Diesel, Lacoste and Bennetton etc... but I am not sure how these contracts work. Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategy Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategy - Sites don't become leaders in their field because of advanced SEO tactics, hey become leaders because they serve their audience the best. A great product (i.e a great site) is a very powerful marketing tool and makes all your other marketing efforts a lot more effective.
Re: To Recruit the Best Re: To Recruit the Best - [quote="ideasuniversity":11silpgi]I don't recruit anymore, since i discovered outsourcing.[/quote:11silpgi] Haha, it's true. Good point Yinka. Outsourcing can solve your low-level problems, however, what about top management, vision, and leadership? Sites like elance.com can hardly help you there. Cheers, Ringo.
