Papa Murphy's Has One of the Best Business Models in the Country

Papa Murphy's has been in the news for all of its accolades. This take-n-bake pizza franchise has accrued a serious fan base and there are now over 1,200 stores in the United States. The growth is not surprising, especially when you take a look at their business plan. Papa Murphy's cuts down on overhead by not having big conventional ovens, by not having a delivery or dine-in option and by only staying open until 9pm (at most stores).

You have all of the perks of owning a pizza chain with Papa Murphy's and none of the headaches. You will not have to hire a driver or stay open to ungodly hours of the night to compete with the other chains. Instead, you freshly prepare pizzas and people come pick them up. Since you don't have to bake them, there is little machinery involved, and therefore to be invested in.
In the last four years, Papa Murphy's has gone from #56 to #26 on the national Best Franchises List from Forbes and Entrepreneur magazines. Even in the unstable economy, Papa Murphy's has turned a great profit. Since they have been franchising since 1982, they really know how to support their franchisees--from site scouting and construction to training and marketing. But don't take my word for it; this is your future. Do your research about Papa Murphy's and find out why they're gaining all of this national recognition. If restaurant franchising has always intrigued you, this might be the perfect business opportunity.

Re: Which movie will make the most money this summer? - [quote="ideasuniversity":1941330f]I saw Mummy 3 yesterday with my friends yesterday and I was really impressed. The movie house was filled to the brim. I also saw Indiana Jones, but I am yet to see The Batman. I don't know which will make money more thn the ohter until I check wikipedia.com[/quote:1941330f] I feel that movies like "The Dark Knight" that are genuinely good and make the most money should win all the accolades/awards. I mean, how can a movie that barely anyone has seen like last year's "No Country For Old Men" win the Oscar for "Best Picture"?? While I did take the time to watch "No Country For Old Men" and thought it was ok, it's not something I'd want to watch over again or recommend to a friend. In fact, "Fargo" was probably a better version of "No Country For Old Men". For instance, would you award the Entrepreneur of the Year Award to someone (or a business) no one has heard of, but did everything perfectly... or would you give it to the person/business that made the most money/media impact?

I live in a reasonably small town, yet we have an unreal number of restaurants and there are so many restaurant franchises. All the food businesses shown in the top 10 are fast food and with Domino's and Papa John's, they even bring dinner to your door. Everyone eats - and more people seem to eat out all the time. Shri
