Quiznos Expanding to Russia Before Olympics

Quiznos has been under a microscope for the past few months since they were so near bankruptcy, but it turns out the fast food restaurant franchise is actually looking to expand internationally quite extensively. According to a press release from the company, they will even be venturing the colder climates of Russia. In preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics, Quiznos is opening their first restaurant in St. Petersburg this year, with 20 locations set to open before 2014. So what can you guess about Winter Olympics advertising? Looks like it will be filled with tasty toasted sandwiches!
CNN Money has recently recognize Quizno's as the number 2 most popular franchise in the past decade in 2010. So even though the sandwich giant has faced some adversity with new ownership, it looks like it has enough clout to survive.
