Why you Should Own a Quiznos Franchise

You've probably heard that opening a restaurant is one of the hardest things to do, especially in an uncertain economy. The truth is that opening your own business always involves risks. An easy way to minimize these risks is to open a business that is already a household name. One perfect example is Quiznos Subs.

With the recent push toward health initiatives in America, it's the perfect time to own afood and restaurant franchisethat isn't associated with poor nutrition. Quiznos has a great reputation for delicious and affordable sandwiches, salads and soups. Their one-of-a-kind menu is nationally recognized, already heavily marketed and sought-out specifically by consumers. You won't have the trouble associated with getting a restaurant off the ground because people will already be looking for a Quiznos to open up!

Financing opportunities also exist with the Quiznos franchisethat don't exist anywhere else in the industry. They have what they like to call the "fast track to success." You won't have to wait up to a year for your building to be built or your business to grow. One franchiser said that her Quiznos franchise was "up and running within two months" and another said that their success was "phenomenal" within the first two weeks.

If you're looking to break in to the restaurant franchise industry, there is no easier decision than opening a restaurant franchise. You can relax and know that you are implementing a proven business model, representing a trusted brand and have a safety net should you need it. For more information, check out Franchise Clique. They have the most comprehensive list of franchises online and serve as the direct line between you and your potential franchiser.

Re: Dominos vs Subway Re: Dominos vs Subway - The Dominos message is cloudy. As posted, their image is for Pizza, not subs. Is it just pizza ingredients on a bun? Are they baking the subs and delivering them, or do they bring them so that the buyer can put them in the oven? (Presume the former, but still, the message is not clear.) "Preferred 2 to 1," by whom, and under what cicumstances? Does waiting for delivery factor into the preference? I am not sure that Dominos can greatly impact the leader. Subway has hurt Quiznos franchisees with the $5 promotion, because Quiznos has higher ingredient costs. Quiznos really didn't have a response. I noticed a "lower prices" banner at a Quiznos I visited yesterday, but that is a long way from $5 for foot longs.
Re: When Franchisees Get Mad Re: When Franchisees Get Mad -
"The original action filed in New Jersey claimed Quiznos collected approximately $75 million in franchise fees while providing nothing in return for the 3,000-plus franchisees.[/quote:kfjnri12] Hi RussellWebb, What was Quiznos supposed to provide for their 3000 plus franchises? And would you happen to know when the issue will be resolved?

Re: Info for would be franchisers... Re: Info for would be franchisers... -
Like Franchise Times, Franchise Update is a very practical magazine. There is no blah blah, just straight facts that anyone in the franchise community can relate to. I just want to mention that all these magazines are NOT franchisee oriented. I mean these magazines are for franchise professionals. If you're looking to buy a franchise, you won't find much information in there. To answer your question, getting published in Franchise Times was fairly easy. I don't want to brag too much but I think I am known in the franchise industry. I was the marketing guy at Franchise.com for a few years before joining my new company, the World Franchising Network. So people know me and I have a very good relationship with Nancy Weingartner, the Managing Editor at Franchise Times. I was talking with her at the last Franchise Expo South in Miami and she mentioned she'd like me to be profiled. I was like "ok, sure!". I like this franchise executive profile thing in Franchise Times as it is rarely BS. People are usually really natural in there.[/quote:1d29sdv1] Thanks for the follow up Sebastien! And I can't say that I'm surprised that networking with the right people and managing your relationships with them properly are the keys to being published. I guess the old adage holds true of "it's not who you know, but who knows you" that's important.
how much for a franchise fee? how much for a franchise fee? - Dear Colleague There is no easy answer to this question. Things to consider:
The sizeof the Franchise Clent base Expected Turnover Intellectual Property costs (recoup) Number of Franchises Number of employees Original Set up costs Franchise admin costs An example: A franchise that I was involved in setting was to a simple "lawn mowing/home repair" franchise. The Franchise included national/local advertising - preparation of client lists - general admin - central accounting etc The Franchise involved 300-500 clients - and an annual turnover of about $300,000 . The annual franchise fee was $30,000. Hope that this gives you some idea Take care Ian
