Debbie Fields of Mrs. Field's cookies once said, "The greatest failure is to not try". "Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it."
I couldn't have put it better myself. I believe if we stay positive and focused, we can accomplish our goals. A franchise doesn't want negative franchisees selling their products or service to the public and certainly this type of person can't be productive and successful. People who are sure of themselves and the business they are in, are the ones who triumph. They take the bull by the horns, commit to what they are doing and get it done in a positive way.
Sometimes you really need to get creative, take that positive enrgy and really make it work for you. Just look at Roxanne Quimby who founded "Burt's Bees" launching a product line of personal care items made from natural ingredients such as beeswax , nut oils and other all natural ingredients. She took a marketing idea and put a positive, creative spin on it by having their trainers squeeze out the product and eat it during their demos! No one ever thought of that before and it made a big impact.
With that being said, always remember that if Roxanne never took a chance and never tried that marketing idea, she may have failed. She took a chance. It stood out in peoples minds, so they will always remember it.
Inovation is what every entrepreneur needs! It's what helps us put our own stamp on our business. Change or difference can be an opportunity that makes us stand out and be remembered. When in business, you want to be remembered.
