A business coach is often brought in to help improve production, employee retention and to help continue training. Who needs a business coach? Everyone can benefit from one, even a successful business.

A successful business using a business coach can keep on track and be proactive in their business practices. This will help keep you on the right track, keep your forward progress positive and allow for future growth.

A business that is struggling can benefit from a business coach in multiple ways. Often if a business is struggling or not growing as fast as it could it is due to the following reasons:

All of these issues can be addressed by a qualified business coach. They often have years of experience and the tools needed to overcome these obstacles in an economical fashion. This is not to say that you couldn’t, given enough time, but that the quickest way to turn things around might be to hire a business coaching professional to help you set up the business practices needed to prosper.

Often a business coach will begin by interviewing you to get a feel for what it is you are trying to accomplish in your business. They will observe your day to day business practices and offer pointers and tips to yourself and your staff to help you maintain more effective business practices. In addition to this, a lot of these services will offer to follow up in a few months to see how you are doing and offer further coaching.

Having a third set of eyes on your business is often a good idea and a decent “sanity check” to make sure you maintain your course and stay on track. Following their advice is definitely recommended. Often these services will come into a bad situation and seem to turn things around overnight, but it is the long term that you are looking at.

When a business coach coaches you on your business realize that a good coach will coach you on more than just sales practices and the like. They will coach you on a personal level to help effect a real, lasting change in your personal and business practices. Sticking with this game plan is important. Otherwise you have just wasted even more money.

One pointer on the process is to make sure you find a coach you are comfortable with. It is important that you stay with something that you can commit to in the long term. While you might be asked to step outside of your normal confides, anything that you feel completely opposed to should not be followed. This is a pretty simple concept, but one that is sometimes overlooked. Failing to follow your gut on things will result in hiring a coach that will be ineffective. This is not to say that they do not know their business, but that the fit wasn’t a good one. Make sure they fit you personally.

Re: Business Coaching Resources Re: Business Coaching Resources - You're fortunate when you can find a Business Coach who has experience beyond where you've been and even where you are going. When your budget is slim and even after, it's good to have a mentor. Several of various backgrounds are very useful. They can be teachers, professors, pastors, business people, family members, bosses and former bosses. You have to be clear on what you want and what you desire to achieve, be able to convey it as simply as possible. Stop and listen and don't over tax their time. You should always expect results whether from a Business Coach or Mentors. If you're not gtting results, you're either not focused or you need to upgrade the quality of your mentors/coaches. Always surround yourself by people smarter than you.

Greetings From Destiny's Door Greetings From Destiny's Door - Hi Everyone, Thanks for the invitation to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to being part of the discussions here. I called my business "Destiny’s Door Coaching" because I believe you already have everything it takes to create the business of your dreams. The door to your destiny stands always open. The choice is up to you. I work with Business Women and Entrepreneurs who want to create a life and business that matches their true potential, while still allowing them time to do the things they love most. I support them as they discover how to work smarter and not harder. I coach because I am passionate about seeing women achieve amazing things when they fully accept their own greatness. Business really gives women a great opportunity to express their passions and purpose in a way that also brings financial rewards. I believe you are highly important as the foundation of your business. As you grow and unleash your true potential, you enable your business to do the same. In fact, I'm doing that personally through my own business. I coach women and write articles inviting women to step into greater personal success. As a Certified Life Coach with a Degree in ministry, this is a perfect fit for me. On a personal level, I believe in living fully alive and making the most of every moment. I even have my own Coach! Of course, life is always a work in progress, but I keep moving forward. I do this happily in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of B.C. with my husband and two feline companions. Anyhow, I look forward to meeting you through the forum where we can challenge and inspire each other to really grow towards our full potential. Let’s really commit to creating the businesses of our dreams. I’ll meet you at Destiny’s Door! Warmly, Tami
Business Coaching Internship Review Business Coaching Internship Review - I joined in during the first phase of the internship and at this point we are committed to doing research and development of RSC Business Group operating in Toronto. RSC Business Group already has products and services in Coaching Small businesses in Los Angeles but we didn't want to assume that the same products were wanted and needed in the Toronto market. Our goal at this point is to commit to interviewing 1000 business owners to capture this data. Through the teleconference internship I've been involved in we've been focusing on Communication Skills and on active listening which are practiced when we conduct our interviews and Coach our clients when they come on board. This is a lot harder than it sounds! Part of the internship is also creating the Toronto RSC Business Group's departments, job descriptions, Marketing and Communication plans etc that a business owner would create for their own company. This trains us in the way we would coach a company as well. The internship is phased in two parts and there is compensation plan involved as well for the clients you personally bring in. These clients are coached directly by Robert Chun as you begin but you are given a chance to learn his techniques. I haven't gone through this experience yet though. It's hard to explain Robert Chun's method of Coaching as it happens at a psychological level in his ability to listen and question the person being coached into the next steps they need to take. The Teleconferences are 2 hours long but it's very interactive. If you have a desire to explore this area of Business I'd recommend contacting Vwodek listed above and get invited to a Coaching Conference call. You can decided then if it's for you. Note: it is a commitment but the skills you walk away with whether you plan on working with RSC Business Group or not is invaluable.
