Facts About Oprah Winfrey

Here are a few facts about Oprah Winfrey that a lot of people do not know. The pontiff of daytime TV, publishing and media in general is an open book more or less. She leads by example and her life story is a testament to determination and overcoming the odds. Oprah was born girl on January 29, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi and was named Orpah Gail Winfrey. Her name was mispronounced as “Oprah” so many times and misspelled as such that eventually it stuck. The name "Orpah" remained on her birth certificate, but she eventually became known as "Oprah”.

If you are looking to find out where Jenny lives, I can’t help you. I assume it’s in a neighborhood where very few people, if anyone at all rents. However finding Jenny Craig locations is a much easier proposition. In fact, it is probably one of the easiest things you will do in a day. The people at Jenny have bent over backwards to make sure that you can find a location nearest you without having to so much as open a phone book. With nearly 1,000 Jenny Craig locations worldwide, this is kind of nice for the average person wishing to avoid “Average Joe’s Gym.”

Free Business Plan Template

An alternative to writing a business plan from scratch or using another business plan as an example is to use a free business plan template. These are nice, but do have a few drawbacks as well. One of the pluses to these is the ease with which one can fill a template out versus having to “free write” a plan from beginning to end. Having a template will keep you organized and keep your plan indexed in such a way that one does not have to worry about having a section in the wrong place, or some of the less critical, but notable sections looked over, misplaced or forgotten about. So for ease of organization the free business plan template has the thumbs up.

Free Business Plan Example

A good free business plan example is not that hard to find. A lot of the chosing relies on stylistic preferences. However, some are better than other for ease of reading and the ability for the reader to get the information they need as quickly as possible. This important when you realize that potential investors see business plans all the time and do not want to spend a lot of their time going through a plan to pick out the information they need. It’s not just a question of investors being able to process the information you are providing in an efficient manner either, other readers should be able to get the points you are driving home in a concise format as well.

Business Equipment Leaseback Loans

These are the devil to explain sometimes, but since I love trying to simplify odd concepts, this should be fun. Business equipment leaseback loans are a definite “creative fund raising” option and not recommended for the everyday individual. Indeed, these loans can get a bit complicated and a lot of research is needed before embarking on one. Generally how business equipment leaseback loans work is that the borrower’s equipment is acquired by a vendor with a bill-of-sale, and then the borrower then leases it back. The borrower is paid cash/yield for their equipment by the lender. The transaction is structured as an equipment lease. Multiple subsequent consecutive leases may be available if the transaction qualifies. It depends on the strength and weakness of the applicant, company, and the amount and value of the equipment.

Action Plan Example

Action plans are fairly common in business, but probably done wrong as often as not. A lot of people do not understand what an action plan is and often mistake it for a COE or Correction Of Errors, not one of my favorite types of documents. Having a good action plan starts with an understanding of what an action plan is and a great action plan example would be a huge help in this. An action plan is a forward looking document and should be addressed as one. When looking at an action plan example one should take this into account. Action plans prevent business gaffs, keep everyone on task and help smooth out operations. In a way they could be considered a mini business plan, though I tend to look at them as a working business plan.
