Announcing Golf for Nature and Soccer for Nature III!

Hello everyone, I wanted to write a bit to let you all know about the two very exciting Sports for Nature events that we are having in July and August of this year - Golf for Nature and Soccer for Nature III.

We are especially excited about Golf for Nature since this is the first event we will be producing under the Sports for Nature initiative with this sport. We have very good sponsors and the event will be held at Reston National Golf Course, which is one of the best courses in the Northern Virginia area, so it should be a good time. Among some of the benefits that players will enjoy while playing are free beer and cigar sampling from our sponsors. Also, the Alexander Tennis Academy at Tuckahoe Club in McLean has donated a coupon to every player for a free one-hour tennis lesson. Why not combine golf and tennis, they are two great sports!

Soccer for Nature III should be very exciting as well, we are holding this event in Reston and it is part of the Asian Festival, which drew over 60,000 people last year. Needless to say, we are thrilled to be part of the festival again this year and hope that this event brings hundreds of soccer players together competing for a good cause - the environment!

Please visit our website for updates on all upcoming events. The Sports for Nature team is very enthusiastic about all the upcoming events this year and will continue to come up with new sports and venues to host our events!

We are based in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area and it has been raining quite a bit this week (a lot more than usual!), so I will wrap-up this blog and head out of the office ASAP to enjoy the nice weather and the weekend. We hope you will do the same wherever you are located at in the world!

Cheers!

Sports + Environment = Healthier people in a healthier world

Re: Just Saying Hello Re: Just Saying Hello - Hi Camil, Welcome to the forum. You have a great mentor, one of the best, he has been a great help to me and many others. You found a very good niche, Golf, is very popular niche, but you need to redesign your website, I suggest using a WP based website, because right now your website is a long sales page and not very friendly, I wanted to click out. Pay Per Action can be a good solution for you and if you still want to use PPC, try MSN system, and not Adwords, it will be cheaper. The main thing is to keep a budget, and never spend a cent more. NEVER! if you know how much you are going to spend, there wil be no surprises. Good luck
Re: Question for the Masses Re: Question for the Masses - Okay, millions, first I would like to tell the members of the forum I come from(Kenya) and US$ 1million is equivalent to Kshs 80Million. This money can buy 2 houses each 6 bedrooms in one acre of land in the poshest areas in Nairobi (The capital city). This would make me the neighbor to the current and the retired presidents, the head of European union, the richest people in that country just to mention. If I don't buy those houses, I would but over 10,000 hectares of land in the fertile areas and become a coffee farmer, selling my coffee to Starbucks and the like, making me even more richer. If I don't want to become a coffee farmer, then I would convert the land to one of the biggest golf course that even Tiger Woods would pay to play. I don't know well what I would do with many more millions of dollars, but with only one million dollars, then I would invite all the members of this forum to come play Golf in my huge golf course.
New but old Member! New but old Member! - I'm back after being away for while so this is a second intro so to say. I'm an entrepreneur that has a successful growing business and team that sells and supports software to trucking and freight brokerage companies. A few years back I was involved with the Mastermind groups that Evan runs and would highly recommend them as the members and Evan all offer great advice and feedback on your business and direction... You also have the ability to do the same for other members of the group. Most recently, I've been working with a business coach and I have to be honest that this has turned my vision, focus and interest in my business around. We met years ago through one of the Mastermind sessions and I am glad that we established a working relationship. Search Warren Coughlin in Google and you will find someone that ultimately can and will make a difference for you and your business... Most recently, I've become involved with some philanthropic efforts and have started the process of searching for other entrepreneurs that are also interested in doing the same, combined with GOLF!!! ... The events and details are hosted at MEETUP and if you search Golf, Entrepreneurs and Philanthropy, you will find us. Warmest Regards, Raye
