Reasons to Save Energy

Energy Independence is what the last 8 U.S. Presidents have been trying to achieve for the past 35 years; since Richard Nixon's State of the Union address, in 1974. Finding the energy to satisfy our needs has been increasingly more difficult due to our dependency on foreign sources and the environmental consequences existing sources have. Prices fluctuate due to limited supply and new demands from developing countries. Thesemillions of dollars we send abroad could be spent on improving our infrastructure and creating jobs.

Clearly, energy is a big issue and on a National level, we have saddled our government with the responsibility to provide us with energy. The responsibility, however, is not entirely on our elected official's shoulders, and it shouldn't be, in a land that fights for and defends Liberty.

We all can learn to conserve energy and take ownership in our quest to become more Energy Independent, and if that's not enough reason for you, here is a list of 5 reasons why your business might want to conserve energy.

There are many good reasons to conserve energy for our own personal benefits and if we consider others we begin to create a more sustainable community, nation and planet and truly become Energy Independent.

Re: Are you satisfied with your ISP's services? Re: Are you satisfied with your ISP's services? - The same in my case my ISP holds my phone number. What i don't like is that if i have a technical problem the process take to much time and they will never hurry up to solve the problem. Save God this it not happening to often. Another think that bugs me is the advertising .... to many offers and advertisements that are annoying people.
Re: Will North America make carbon taxes anytime soon? Re: Will North America make carbon taxes anytime soon? - Well I recently started to work at a solar company in Ontario, and business is booming. The Ontario government is doing a great deal since passing the Green Energy Act. This is where the government is buy the energy you produce. 80 cents for kwh. A lot of people in Ontario are putting up solar panels on their roofs, and feeding back the grid green energy.

Re: Promote Websites You Don't Own! Re: Promote Websites You Don't Own! - For most new small businesses jumping into online marketing for the first time I would steer clear of PPC advertising. For a while at least. Without a decent understanding of how search works and the whole PPC thing, including quality score, split testing of ad copy and landing pages, negative keywords, etc., you burn through your money pretty quick while trying to just learn and often end up with a deeply negative return on investment. Instead I would maybe spend that part of the budget on doing more of some of the other things you mentioned. Maybe buy another directory link or two. Another press release. More local offline advertising. Save the PPC for when the budget is not quite so tight and those other marketing efforts are already bringing in business. You can then better afford the learning curve costs and time required to get it right, and most importantly get it profitable.
