A business model that has stood the test of time is affiliate marketing and this is due to the many benefits that it offers.

You can get started for free as affiliate programs cost nothing to join. Also they provide you with all the tools you need so there is no delay in getting up and running.

If affiliate marketing is new to you, you do not have to worry as there are many very good training sites available on the internet.

Affiliate networks such as Commission Junction and Clickbank, which are free to join and offer a huge variety of affiliate programs you can join, also provide good training.

Let's look at 3 ways you can make online income with affiliate opportunities without having to spend a cent.

- Pay per leads. A very popular way to earn money on the Internet today is by providing leads for an advertiser.

You do not have to pay any money to join the programs where advertisers will pay you for obtaining leads for them. A good site to join is Commission Junction where you will find advertisers that you can join in this mutually beneficial business venture.

- Pay per click. You can join the Google Adsense program and get paid by Google when people click on ads displayed on your website.

A fast way to get approved for the Google Adsense program is to start a blog with Blogger.com and join the Adsense program at the same time.

Also this is a good way to start a blog and get your feet wet doing a little bit of promotion and blogging and you will make money whenever people click on the ads on your blog

- Pay per sale. As an affiliate marketer there are two ways to earn money on the Internet today selling products.

Firstly, you can sell digital information. Clickbank is free to join and offers thousands of digital products you can sell. Commission rates are high because the products can be accessed online without any shipping costs. You will also find good digital products to sell at The Internet Marketing Center.

Secondly, you can sell physical products. You will have access to many products when you join the Amazon affiliate program. As people are ordering products online in record numbers you can profit from that.

Amazon has one of the longest standing affiliate programs on the Internet. Once you learn how to do it, there are literally thousands of physical products you can make money selling.
