2. Sell digital affiliate products. This is a great way to make money because you can provide instant access to these products. You can join an affiliate program and sell things such as reports, ebooks and articles or you can create your own digital products to sell.

3. Add PPC ads. The top program for this is Google Adsense. Whenever your website visitor clicks on an ad you get paid. To make money doing this you do not have to sell any products.

4. Sell text link ads. There are other Internet marketers who would be willing to pay to advertise on your site once you begin to get traffic. Text link ads are easy for you to make money selling and can also be valuable to them.

5. Join a MLM company. By enrolling distributors underneath you allows you to duplicate your efforts and leverage your time. Whenever they purchase or sell products you get paid. Also you can make money selling products yourself.

6. Cost per action programs. The most common way you see Internet marketers making money with affiliate cpa programs is getting paid by the lead.

7. Build an email list. An autoresponder allows you to get back in touch with your website visitors who you might otherwise never hear from again. A smart way to build your list is to add a sign-up form on every web page.

8. Sell solo email ads. When your list of subscribers grows there are the Internet marketers who would like to promote their products to it. Selling solo ads to your list gives you another stream of income.

Utilizing most or all of these ideas on how to make money on a website will be good for your business.
