1. Get a ready made money making website and start a home business. This is often referred to as a business in a box. All you need to make money is provided.

The main advantage of doing this over joining programs such as affiliate marketing or network marketing is you can buy a domain name and host your own website.

The benefit of this is that you can make changes to it in the future as you become more comfortable working online. This type of home business makes sense when you are first getting started because your website is already set up with products so you can get started immediately.

2. Start a blog writing business. You can make money with your blog writing business even if you do not think you are a strong writer.

To do this you hire people to write the articles for you. You turn around and sell those articles to customers who need content for their blog.

However, if you enjoy writing you can turn your passion into a full time income. You will never run out of customers to write for.

As a matter of fact creating a full time customer base is very easy to do. To keep yourself busy you do not need that many customers.

So many bloggers today have hundreds of blogs that they need content for on a regular basis. So you will never get bored as you can write articles on a wide range of topics.

3. Set up your own auto blogging business. Your aim is to make a little money every day from each blog. Setting up 10 blogs a month part time is possible and you can be earning a full time income in a year.

Auto blogging is something that many Internet marketers are doing very successfully. The nice thing about auto blogging is it allows you to control your schedule while your business continues to grow.

4. Join a network marketing company. It is much easier to build a MLM business on the Internet today than it used to be.

You can sell products and sponsor new distributors much easier online. You can make even more money as you can be involved in multiple MLM companies.

These are examples of Internet based business ideas that really do work. Ordinary people all around the world are making money in one or more of these opportunities.

But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

Now i am exploring the internals of Internet biz, marketing, seo etc. As a first step, i have launched my blog and started posting articles on what i am learning and thinking. I titled the blog as "Anatomy of Online Business" and i am building the content (basement) now, will be monetizing soon. Moreover I am dreaming/aiming to become a successful entrepreneur online.
