1. More people would be making money online if it was so much easier than it is to make money offline. You need skills if you expect to make money on the Internet.

Many people lack basic computer skills. If you are going to make money sitting in front of your computer you need to become adequate at using a computer.

So consider taking some basic computer classes designed to help you navigate your way around a computer. If you search on Google you can find them.

2. Internet marketing skills are something that you will need to learn. You will need to learn how to sell a product online if that is what you are going to do.

Also if you want to get paid for doing tasks like reading emails or taking online surveys you will also need to learn how to do that. The good thing is none of these are rocket science, and anyone with average intelligence can learn how to promote and make money online.

3. Start building an email list for future follow up. A very basic thing that you are going to hear over and over but it really is true.

Think about approaching Internet marketing from an asset and liability viewpoint. Liabilities are things that cost you money. Assets are things that make you money. Email lists are so valuable because they can pay you over and over in the future when you use them correctly.

4. You are going to have to work. You will be sitting at home with no boss telling you when you have to work.

Hanging out in social networking sites and surfing the internet are not going to make you a lot of extra money. If you expect to succeed at earning extra income online you need to be disciplined enough and focus on how you are attempting to earn it.

Re: What is your Business? - We are running a Online Marketing Firm and we have some good clients to which we are offering a complete Digital Marketing strategy like Search, Mobile Marketing, Branding and Design. I think in Online Marketing company online presence can be a wining factor for the success of the company.
Me Too - So.... - I write. Its a form of 'pull' marketing that suits me, though I'm quite an outgoing person. I know all the stuff about it not being me, 'they're just not ready yet'. Truth is I'm not good with rejection and will walk if I get too much of it - so I do it differently. Each to his own I guess. Still, I wish I had the guts to do those 500, just to say 'I did it'!
