2. Then there is pay per lead. Pay per lead programs are very simple in that you join an affiliate program free that provides leads to various merchants that are members of it. For example, Max bounty has paid survey programs that will pay you between the dollar and two dollars per lead. You can quickly earn several hundred dollars a month by just having customers fill out short forms from a link or banner on your website.

3. Pay per sale is another way to make internet income with affiliate marketing. One example of this is Clickbank which is a large digital information provider. You get paid to sell e-books which contain your Clickbank affiliate ID. You might earn 10 or $20 for every book you sell.

4. Another way to make internet income is through two-tier affiliate programs. You recruit affiliate marketers and earn a commission for every product that they sell. There are people that earn a full-time living just because they have recruited go-getters on their second tier.

5. Residual income programs are a great way to make internet income with an online affiliate business. You get paid again and again for making one sale. An example of this would be website hosting. As long as the hosting account that you sold is active you earn a commission every month for doing that. Membership sites are another excellent way to earn residual income because as long as the membership is active you are getting paid every month.

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.
Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - Hi GT Affiliate Marketing is one of the easier ways to get started making money online, but it does take quite a bit of work before you see any great results as you have to keep promoting constantly. It does teach you one hell of a lot about all aspects of Internet Marketing though as you will need to learn how to write and submit articles, create and maintain a blog, social networking is a great help to affiliates too..the list goes on and on. Now i am exploring the internals of Internet biz, marketing, seo etc. As a first step, i have launched my blog and started posting articles on what i am learning and thinking. There are pros and cons to Affiliate Marketing, just as there are to any business. As has been suggested, he best policy is to proceed with caution and do some research before jumping in. As Carol has recommended, this topic thread in the EvanCarmichael.com forum is the ideal place to ask questions and seek further input on available Affiliate Marketing programs. If a person is serious about building an online business and is interested in Affiliate Marketing plans, they should approach the process as they would any other form of business.
