How To Market An Internet Business The Low Cost Way

When you consider how to market an Internet business you need to establish a budget up front. Then as you begin to make money you should reinvest some of your profits back into additional marketing.

Here are some internet marketing training tips on how to market an Internet business that are free or low cost and you can pump up your budget as you become more profitable.

1. Start with article marketing. Write articles around targeted keywords so they will appeal to your readers and to the search engines.

Submit these articles to the top article directories on the Internet. Initially you can submit your articles manually.

As you become profitable you should begin to use article marketing software or an online article submission service. This will allow you to reach more article directories faster.

2. Blog and social bookmark on a regular basis. Search engines love blogs and will reward you with high rankings for your blog articles if you target the right keyword phrases.

Social bookmarking your blog articles is a good way to create backlinks as well as search engine bait. Reinvest some of your profits to use an online service such as Social Marker or OnlyWire. This will let you get your blog posts into more social directories with one click.

3. Build an email list. You should have a sign-up form on every web page you do. You should also add your form to your blog sidebar.

Your blog should contain an RSS Feed so people can receive your blog updates automatically. This is another good way to keep in touch with people. You can even allow them to receive your updates in their inbox.

4. Post comments in discussion forums. This can be a good long term source of traffic.

Many discussion forums will archive their threads so your posts stay active for many years to come. Create an interesting signature file that includes a hyperlinked keyword phrase back to your website for search engine bait and direct traffic.

5. Start up a pay per click advertising campaign. Consider lesser used search engines such as Bidvertiser, and Yahoo Marketing.

These are generally less expensive than Google Adwords so you can maximize your advertising dollar and generate more traffic for less money.

In summary these are several internet marketing training tips on how to market an Internet business. You should mix in free and paid advertising and always reinvest some of your profits into increasing your advertising budget.

The more marketing methods you have working for you the more quality traffic you will be able to generate. This is how you grow an Internet business!

Re: Who inspired you to start? Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,
