What you need to look for are things like how they are actually marketing their business, their website design and navigation structure, the products they are offering and their pricing structure. Have a look to see if they are offering incentives such as free ebooks to purchasers or a free newsletter to subscribers? This exercise will provide you with ideas on how you can improve your own online business.
Secondly, you need to understand your customers and know what they are looking for. The internet provides many places that you can find prospective customers. One reason for the lack of growth in your business could be that you are not reaching the full potential of your target market.
