Many people are making great income- full or part time- with internet writing and are doing it by largely following the tips mentioned in this article. These are basically in an order for you to get started.

- Find a product or service that you want to promote. You'll want to pick something that has some mass appeal. In Clickbank Marketplace you can select your product and do a search that reveals which sites are the best. Go with one of these.

- Determine the best keywords or phrases that you will include in your article. Keyword tools can help with this. The best keywords are those that have are searched a lot but don't presently have much competition.

Here are some specific tips for the article itself:

- Include the keywords in your title and the first sentence of the article. Conclude the article with a summary sentence also featuring the keyword or phrase.

- The article's content must be valuable and informative for the reader.

- Include an author resource box at the end. This area can provide a link to any product/service you're promoting and a few (keep it simple) words about yourself.

The article can be distributed in a few ways:

- Include it on your blog or the blogs of others especially since Google loves blogs and blogs love updated content.

- There are many directories that pay for fresh articles such as EzineArticles, Associated Content and Website-Articles to name a few.

- Social bookmarking sites are a great way to get yourself out there. Consider sites such as Digg and Reddit and Delicious and Technorati. On these sites your articles may be picked up by others and publishes further spreading your work.

- Ezines is mentioned above for good reason. They are newsletter publications on the internet and have thousands of subscribers. When you post to them you have the opportunity to do so in the many of niches they represent.

- Utilize Backlinks which are links that steer back to your website from other websites. By creating backlinks and visiting other sites you can comment on their sites and include links back to your blogs and articles.

The key to becoming a great and successful article writer is to do it every day and submit to as many sites and outlets as possible. Once you become you can gain and maintain a reputation that can sustain you for some time.

As you can see, by following just a few tips you can write internet marketing articles and make a lot of money doing so. How much is up to you!

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Business Tips - How about: Tips for managers to handle employees more effectively? Tips on how to deal with difficult customers? Tips on how to deal more effectively with suppliers? The only three I have in mind right now, but will try to come up with something else. Chris
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

You sound like a very enthusiastic person who likes what she does and in Internet Marketing that is very important and you also sound like a 'people person' which is great. Internet Marketing is time consuming and challenging but can also be extremely rewarding and hopefully profitable. I don't know how many forums you have signed up to but this is one of the best. The support and guidance you get here is what makes it the success that it is but as I am sure you know from looking at the side bar that there are many aspects of business that are catered for here which will help you along the way, best wishes, Mal.
Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
