This is a technique that is used to promote a company's product or service on your site. You will earn a commission on each sale that is made using the affiliate link on your page. Amazon Associates offers a program that you can use on your site to sell their products. If affiliate marketing sounds like a way for you to make money, then you can add it to your list of online business ideas that you may want to pursue.

Blogging

Start a blog that you can post with various articles, journal style writing pieces or product reviews. You can use the blog to sell advertising to earn a small income. You can research information online about blogging. If you have experience with copy writing online and affiliate marketing, then by starting a blog you can take this online business idea to the next level.

E-Commerce

Use your own website to sell goods or a technology-based service. This is one online business idea that you can do from your home. Another online business idea is to provide web consulting services to various clients that include a local business or investors in a specific market segment.
