The volume of products being sold online is staggering and increases every day. Not all of the products are worth what they are being bought for but most of them are. As you already know, not all of the opportunities online are legitimate work at home opportunities. You will find many scams online but if you know why selling online is legitimate work at home than you will be able to stay away from the scams.

1. There are many products being sold online and many people that prefer to do their shopping online. Most people think that if you are trying to sell them something online that it has to be a scam. This is not true because if you take the time to look nearly every business is launching a website online.

2. You will come across many opportunities that will promise you things that you know sound too good to be true. However, the legitimate work at home ones will let you know up front what you can expect to achieve with the business but they will also tell you that it won't be easy to do. So when you find an opportunity that sounds too good to be true then most likely it is a scam.

3. Just by using the skills and knowledge that you already have you can set up your own legitimate work at home business. You need to make sure that you check out everything thoroughly. This is one mistake too many people make, don't be one of them. You will know when you have found a legitimate opportunity instead of a scam if you just take time to look around.

If you want to find legitimate work at home opportunities you will want to take some time to do some research before you decide what is legitimate and what is not. The more you browse around on the internet the more you will be able to figure out why selling online is legitimate work at home.

For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need. Jeff
