There are plenty of ways you can earn money online. You just need to know that these opportunities are there. Here are a few ways to make some money online. Be forewarned that you may not make a lot of money right off the bat, but right now, every little bit you make helps.

The first way you can make money online is by selling your skills. There are plenty of websites that advertise for computer programmers, freelance writers, graphic artists, and more. If you have a knack for writing, can whiz through a database or spreadsheet, or are proficient in a specific coding language, you can bid for projects to do.

It's pretty exciting when you are selected to complete the project, and even more exciting when the person who hired you sends you your first 'paycheck'. Most places will pay you online via PayPal or a similar service.

If freelance writing is not quite your cup of tea and you find that it's too formal for your tastes, you can try writing blogs for money. Blogs are quick and informal ways of passing on information, and if your blogs are polished with a bit of personality you will go far with them.

Like the freelancing sites, you can easily find a list of blogging for pay websites online. On the other side of the coin, you can even start your own blogging network. This is more business oriented as you will sell advertising, hire writers, and pay your employees. It won't leave you a lot of time for writing yourself, but if you're okay with that, then go for the business angle.

Selling photographs online is becoming a popular way of making money. If you love taking pictures, consider selling some of them online. Yes, there are many other people out there doing the same thing, so if you want your photos to get noticed then take a look at what is out there and try to fill in with pictures that are out of the ordinary.

There are a few websites where you can upload and market your photographs. They may charge a small fee to host your pictures, but if you sell some of them, the fee will be negligible.

Join a website that pays you for writing reviews or taking online product surveys. These websites usually do not pay a lot of money, but if you are able to join a site that pays for every post you make or for every survey you take, you can earn some pretty good money. It may take you awhile to earn enough money to cash out based on the websites restrictions, but if you are patient and work at it, you will be amazed at how much you can earn.

Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".
Revenue Streams for Websites - Too funny, I was just reading a book: Multiple Streams of Internet Income: How Ordinary People make extraordinary money on line, by Robert G. Allen. 2001 That's a misnomer, though - they're not ordinary people, they're people with established careers who can take their expertise and exploit it on the web. Ways to generate income? 1) Sell your own material on the site. Ebooks, etc. 2) Join various affiliate programs that match what your website is about. 3) Google adsense - All my money comes from this... it's started out slow but as readership of my sites grown, the income has grown. Nothing to write home about yet... 4) Google adwords - the advertisers whose ads show up on Google Adsense. Unless you're selling big ticket items on your site you don't want to use it, your keywords can cost from 20 cents upwards.
