If it sounds like what you've been looking for, you'll need to know what "it" is. The type of income described above is known as passive residual income. Basically, what passive income means is that you're earning money without having to continue working on a project to make it happen.

Traditionally, this type of passive income is the income that you would receive from an investment or a real estate rental. Often this type of investment may need an initial monetary investment as well as some time spent to cultivate it, but the hope is that after that initial effort you will be able to sit back and relax as the money continues to roll in.

This type of income is great! Once you start reaping the benefits, you can enjoy the freedom of a less traditional work schedule. Above and beyond, you essentially can continue to inflate your income as much as you would like to. It may also afford you the opportunity to use your new found freedom in ways you always dreamed of.

One of the best passive income programs is affiliate marketing. With affiliate marketing you set up a website that is designed to pre-sell another company's product. Essentially, you will receive a commission off each product that is sold for the parent company.

The key to making a success of this is to find a company that will pay out a rather large commission for each sale that is made or a group of programs that fit nicely with the theme of the website. One really good way to bring in the money from affiliate programs is to promote recurring billing products or services.

Those are things like monthly membership sites. These products are signed up for and billed to your referral each and every month as long as they stay signed up. Each month you will earn a commission on the monthly fee. You will also want to ensure you can track the activities of those who purchase through your affiliate links so you can continue to approach them with offers of similar products or services.

Another great way to get that passive income bankroll started is to produce an informative product that can be placed on the Internet for sale. One easy option is to create an eBook and put it up for sale on your website.

Writing an eBook is really quite easy. You'll want to make certain the topic of your book is one that has a fair amount of demand. All you need to get started is knowledge of the information you'd like to present and word processing software to type it up. Once you have created your eBook and have it ready to sell, put it on your website and sit back and let it continue to make money over and over again.

If you're looking to ramp up how much you are making via your eBook then you might want to consider adding an affiliate program. Allow people to sell your eBook for a commission. Though you will be paying out those commissions, your sales will most certainly increase resulting in more revenue and less work for you in the long run.

The good news is that finding a way to supplement your income is not as mysterious as it may seem. With a little time and effort you too can start producing a passive residual income that will allow you the freedom to achieve your financial goals.

Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".

Re: What are your success criteria? - 1) Ability to provide for not only my family but their children and their children's children. I would setup education scholarships and also business venture grants to help the young kids in my family. 2) Residual income that is not dependent on my continual efforts 3) Quality time to spend growing the business as well as time to spend with family 4) Ability to create and fund an organization that empowers others to help those in need. The whole goal is when I leave everything should be able to sustain itself and continue without my help. That to me is success.
Re: What is your Business? - We are running a Online Marketing Firm and we have some good clients to which we are offering a complete Digital Marketing strategy like Search, Mobile Marketing, Branding and Design. I think in Online Marketing company online presence can be a wining factor for the success of the company.
