How to Get Your Spouse to Support Your Online Internet Business

How do you get your spouse or significant other to support your online Internet business? My wife? Chocolate or ice cream. Have you ever been typing away only to hear, "Honey get off of that damn computer and rub my feet?" Maybe you have heard, "You love that computer more than you do me." Yes, these are actual statements from the parties involved writing this article.

The best way to gain the support from your spouse/significant other is to show them that you want them to be involved. I have spent many a conversation boring my wife to death talking about online Internet marketing. I know at times she has no clue whatsoever I am talking about, but she does see my passion for it. I make her a part of my Internet business by getting her opinion on many topics.

She listens to my rants and raves and having someone who is on the outside of online Internet business, she gives me great feedback on what would attract her to a site or business opportunity. Tonight for example, I asked her for advice on what a good article title would be and she came up with this one here I am writing as we speak!

You cannot leave them in the dark. You need to show them what you are doing and get their very valuable input. It makes you better when trying to attract prospects. I constantly ask my wife to proofread articles, view my online Internet business website, my blogs, and give an opinion on new ideas. She is an honest, non-Internet marketing source that helps me see things that I do not.

My wife stands by me and knows now why I do this. She has become a very stable and wonderful support for me to turn to. I go at this as something that will be our success and not just my own. You have to value your spouse or significant other's perspective because it can make a HUGE difference in how you grow, prosper, and thrive in your online Internet business.

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
Re: what position to request? Re: what position to request? - Hi Michael, Great suggestion from David, or you could try something around a design consultancy, How about Website Design Consultant, Design and Development Manager, Website Support and Development Manager or maybe Internet Business Development Consultant. Ultimately whatever you are comfortable with and good luck for the future, Mal.

Re: HOw to market a B2B consulting company Re: HOw to market a B2B consulting company - [quote="zohahunt77":428owzbi]Hi, I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between B2B and B2C. I don’t know about b2b marketing but I have done marketing so know things about it. I will suggest you to take online services which will spread your business all over web network. Online marketing is the best way to market any business.[/quote:428owzbi] B2B = Business to Business - You are marketing to other businesses. B2C = Business to Consumer - You are marketing to consumers.
