William Shakespeare wrote, "The web of our life is of mingled yam, good and ill together." Life itself is not good or bad, it just happens to find a dwelling place among our existence. Every valley has an end, as every mountain has its peak. How you live your life when at either extreme, shows the true fabric with which you have been woven.
What is it that smolders inside of you that made you take this course and make this change? There has to be something that is different and sets you apart from others who find contentment in the most minuscule pleasures. Is it the challenge or urgency of change? Or is it because your voracity to capture and live your life's dreams are that fervent? If so, then what do you seek to do with that devotion?
Life is a long, long road we travel. Envision for a moment yourself standing in the middle of a barren and immense field. Which way should you go? Where should you begin? Why not start where you are standing now and seed, nurture, and blossom your field outward from all sides. Your life, your desires within your heart should not be one-way, but should expand from all possible areas that you can make it reach. Think of the endless rewards that can come from that!
Do not let the outlook of the world and the bombardment of doubt deter you. You have to keep your heart in the right place at all times and let it control the true path to your dreams. When your mind tells you to give up, listen to what your heart tells you. If you love what you yearn for, then your heart will not let you falter.
Even if you reach the lowest point that you feel that you could possibly go, embrace that still, burning ember that emanates from the center of your heart. Your life is yours alone and you must press on for what you hold dear to you. Dust yourself off, try again, and keep trying until the life of your journey has finished.
The belief in your heart is there. But belief has to be something that you must also do. You cannot wait in shadows when the sunlight you seek is so close to you. Every day you open your eyes to a new morning, be thankful you are awake. Use each new day and propel yourself toward the gifts in life that you seek. They will not be accomplished for you. You must secure it on your own.
Your life, your will, your dream, and your heart; Consistently and passionately push them toward your moments of brilliance. Nothing in this life can stop this from becoming, except for you. You don't have to sell others or yourself on what you plan to do. Live it. Then you can comfortably rise each morning to the wonderful fruits of your labor. So, keep your heart and life in this, even when your mind is not. It does not matter if you or I finish the marathon in first place. What matters is that we finish the race of life and realize our aspirations. Believe it and then do it. Then finish.
