Give The Host What She/He Needs

Most catalog shows don’t do well because the consultant does not give the catalog show host any attention. The way to have high catalog shows is to give them as many catalogs as they need. Don’t be stingy with catalogs ask them how many people they will have helping them to collect orders.

Host Coach Catalog Shows

Don't think that the host automatically knows how to collect orders. It is important to teach them how to gather orders, how to process credit cards and even to give them the word choices to use when talking with the customers. Host coach your catalog shows. Give them your time and teach them how to have a good show.

You will have better catalog shows when you teach your hosts:
*To create a list of things they want.
*How the benefits work.
*How to calculate the tax.
*What kind of payment methods you accept.
*How to increase the orders when they hand out the book. (Tell them to point out their favorite product or the monthly special. Any time the host can point out something in the book, and tell them what page it is on, then the sales will be a little higher.)

Have them give you orders as they go along. Pick a date at the half way point of the catalog show and make a phone date. Have the host read her/his orders to you. when you get a few orders into your computer at the half way point you can tell them the benefits which they have acquired already and it will motivate them to continue.

Give them lots of catalogs. Please do not be stingy with the catalogs! Catalog shows are extra cash flow and you should take advantage of them. The more time and attention you give to book shows, the more cash flow you will generate! When you pass on catalog shows, it is like passing cash on the street and not picking it up.
