Host or hostess coaching, depending on what your company calls it, is the act of guiding your party plan show hostess in how to have a terrific show. The better your system of hostess coaching, the better your home shows will be. When you prioritize hostess coaching to the level of importance it deserves in your business, then you will almost be guaranteed success in your home party business. Basically, hostess coaching is the back bone of your business. It is the driving force of all other parts of direct selling. When you are an effective hostess coach, it gives you an opportunity to become good at all the other parts of your business. A hostess coaching system will bring more people to your shows so that your hostess does not cancel. With more people at the home party, you will get more opportunities to meet people who may join your organization or schedule a show. More people means more fun, more fun means more sales, more sales means higher hostess benefits, higher host benefits means you have happy hostesses. Happy hostesses means they book another show and you get to hostess coach again. Hostess Coaching System Your hostess coaching system should include every medium available so that you have a better chance of connecting with each type of personality. A good hostess coaching system will use: Hostess coaching should include all of these approaches, because people respond to different types of contact. If you only use email, you will never connect with the once a month email checker. If you only use phone you may not get to chat with the one who never answers her phone. If you do not leave a message, then the one who screens her calls will end up canceling.

A good hostess coaching system will get your hostess started on actions. In the beginning the action is just to start a list of whom to invite. The very act of writing down names and taking action will give you and your hostess a better show. The next action is to call everyone and personally invite them. The desired actions continue from the time the hostess schedules the show until the show takes place. It is your job to give your hostess a couple of actions to take at a time so that she actually takes action without getting overwhelmed. Write out your hostess coaching system and start to work it. Once you put your system into action, it will be easy to fine tune and get the results you are looking for at your shows. Hostess coaching is the backbone of your business. When you commit to having good home party shows by incorporating a hostess coaching system into your direct sales business, you will increase sales and bookings.
