Why do tigers show their teeth? Usually when I ask that question in a sales seminar the answers are predictable. Tigers show their teeth because they are going to eat you. They want to scare you. Tigers are mean. We all know the answers.

Tigers could eat you or scare you without showing their teeth. Tigers can be mean or look mean without showing their teeth. The truth is that tigers show their teeth because it gives them power. A tiger shows his or her teeth to create power in their head. It makes them fearless! This system works for people too. A system that works in one application works in others too. So showing your teeth creates power in your head. It gives you strength if your are a tiger or if your are a network marketer.

In the book "Think and Grow Rich", written in the 1930's I think, Napoleon Hill says that your subconscious mind takes your conscious thoughts and manifests them into reality. The book, "The Secret" written in the 21 st century says that when you think positive thoughts you attract positive things and when you think negative thoughts you attract negative things. Deb Bixler, says "Your thoughts predict your future". It is all the same no matter how you say it. Successful people know that in order to attain your dreams, mission and goals they must watch-dog your mind. Keep powerful thoughts going in and coming out all the time. "Smile Like A Tiger And Show Your Teeth" so that you feel good in your head and create power that you can leverage into success.

Positive thoughts can cause you to smile and a smile can cause you to think positive thoughts. Use the powers that you have to boost your effectiveness.

The next time you are making cold calls put a mirror by your phone and give yourself a toothy grin as you dial the phone. Smile like a tiger as the phone is answered on the other end and begin to experience the power of a tiger in your business.
