Here is how you can set up your own eBay business and work at home in 5 easy steps.

1. First of all you need to come up with something to sell. If you look at some of the most successful eBay businesses they sell something that is unique. It could be a product like reconditioned computers or a service such as reconditioning computers. One thing that is always a good idea is to find a unique idea that is something that interests you or that you have an area of expertise in. This will help you earn more money and enjoy it at the same time.

That could be a hobby or maybe even something you are doing at work now. If you can turn it into an eBay business that you can work at home you can start part time and maybe eventually replace your job with it. Make a list of everything you can think of and then choose your best idea and start with it.

2. Everything you read about selling on ebay is you have to provide good pictures on your products. A quality digital camera is going to be a good investment for your business if you do not have one. You can write a good ad detailing everything about the product and people are still going to remember the picture.

3. Research your product and what the competition is doing. As with any business to earn more money you have to know what your competitors are doing and react accordingly. It also will help you locate products that do not have as much competition and you can earn the most money from. This is one of the secrets to making money online. Can you outthink your competition or eliminate it altogether.

4. As Bob Barker would say "the price is right." Everyone starts out bidding low on eBay and the price is driven up by the bidding process. Be sure and know what the minimum that you want to make or you will lose money. If you have questions on what to price your product at look at what other sellers are doing with comparable products.

5. One of the nice things about working at home with an eBay business is how easy it is to set up your payment system. eBay owns PayPal so you have to get a PayPal account to process your sales. Their fee are reasonable and you can get a PayPal Mastercard or transfer money from your PayPal account into your business checking account.
