The following is a short introduction of what to expect if you want to get paid to write in the online world.

Who Can Write For Cash?

You don't have to be an Ernest Hemingway or a T S Elliot to have somebody pay you to write online. What you do need is the ability to convey your ideas in a clear and concise fashion, and you should have good grammar and spelling as well.

On What Topics Do I Write?

The usual advice is to write about what you are familiar with and what you are passionate about. Your expertise and passion will come through and result in a well-written piece. But there will be occasions in which you will be constrained to a certain topic, but you can always choose to reject the project or look at it as a chance to learn something new.

Do I Get Paid Based On How Many Articles I Write?

Normally, you get paid by the article. There will be some cases in which you will get paid through royalties. Online, there are a lot of different ways by which you can get paid. The following are the more common ways through which you can get paid:

• By The Article Or Post. Some sites may pay you per blog post, perhaps a dollar or two per post. Some sites may pay you per article, or allow you to list your article for sale.

• By The Number Of Words In The Article. Some sites or webmasters might choose to pay you based on the number of words in your article or blog post. While rates vary widely, I would expect that a rate of one to two cents per word to be representative.

• By CPM. You publish on the site. The site will then pay you by the number of times the article is viewed. You can expect to be paid about $1 - $2 per one thousand views of your article.

• By AdSense And Other Ads. You add your article to the site. On the same page as your article, the site will add Adsense and other ads. A certain percentage of the ads will be displayed with your affiliate or tracking code.

In conclusion, getting paid to write on the Internet is a relatively new industry. It differs from offline writing in that the payment structure or model is varied and each site would have it own unique structure. In addition, for online writing, it would be an added bonus if you have some copywriting skills and are familiar with basic SEO techniques. While writing online might seem challenging at first, it can be quite rewarding as you generally get to write about what you like and make some money at the same time.

We can also find out the list of organic keywords our competitors are working on along with their organic ranking in Google. It's really an interesting tool.
CEOs and Email - Slaves? - I wonder if the emails they are responding to are filtered thru their assistants first 'cos they seem to spend a lot of their off hours responding to them. True they are successful but I'm not sure I'd be willing to pay that price. I'd be interested to know what's the in the typical day planner of Entrepreneurs on the Forum. Entrepreneurs are a different breed than Paid Employees- so it would be interesting to view the contrast.
Re: What is your Business? - We are running a Online Marketing Firm and we have some good clients to which we are offering a complete Digital Marketing strategy like Search, Mobile Marketing, Branding and Design. I think in Online Marketing company online presence can be a wining factor for the success of the company.
Re: Do Articles For Businesswomen need to be written differently - I don't think that as a general rule an article [i:11csddi3]needs[/i:11csddi3] to be written "for women." In my opinion, the two important writing rules are: 1) Write for your targeted audience. If it happens to be predominantly women or predominantly men, then write accordingly (if you have the ability to make that distinction in your writing). 2) Write in your own voice. Be natural. If you are a serious writer, your style will become apparent over time and you will develop a following. It may happen that your style is more attractive to one sex or the other. If so, you may be able to advance your writing career by further cultivating your sensitivity within that style. Bottom line: I do believe that certain styles appeal to women, certain styles appeal to men and if you know the distinction, have the ability to write in a particular style and choose to target one sex or the other, then go for it. But I don't think that it is a necessity in today's market. GT :-]
