How To Write Articles Really Fast

As an Internet marketer, you need to get things done as fast as possible. There always seems to be so many things to be done, and not enough hours in the day to do it in. Writing articles would probably be one of the chores that takes the most time. So, I have outlined below a short list of techniques that might be useful in helping you write faster.

Think About It First

You don't want to just decide to write an article and then immediately start writing. Spend a few minutes to think and note down the gist of what you want to say. And you might want to take a little time to mull over what you want to write and how you want to write it. I usually take a few days. That way, when you really do sit down and start writing, it's already half done.

Set Yourself A Deadline To Finish

Nature abhors a vacuum. Similarly, the time that you need to complete a writing project automatically increases to fill the time available. So, by setting a deadline, you reduce the time available for a project, and the time you need to complete it. But do be reasonable and don't set too tight a deadline or your work will suffer.

Practice, Practice, Practice

How many times have somebody told you that practice makes perfect? Writing, whether it is an article, or a novel, or a screen play, is a skill much like cycling or skateboarding. The more you do it, the better you get. And for article writing, the better you are, the faster you can finish an article.

It Doesn't Have To Be Perfect

Your article does not to be perfect. And not being perfect is also not an excuse for shoddy work. You just have to be mindful that there has to be a balance between a well written article that is finished comparatively fast, and a perfect article that takes forever to write.

Read Other Similar Articles For Ideas

Try to get a good start by searching the web for articles in a similar vein to what you want to write. Read through a few to have a few ideas on how you can approach your article. It's always much easier to have some examples than to start completely from scratch. And when you are ready to write, sit down and write an article that is totally you, and not bits and pieces borrowed from the articles that you read.

Conclusion

A few years ago, it took me quite some time to write the content for my website about home based businesses. The content was probably the equivalent of about ten 500 word articles. And I took about 2 months to complete it. Today, I could probably do it within a week. Writing articles fast is a skill like any other and it is just a matter of tools, techniques and practice.

Here it is: Write the blog post / article you were born to write. Write something that you can pour your heart and all your passion into. Write something where you can change the life of the person reading it. Write something where if you look back in 10 years you'll be really proud of what you created. Can you do that? I'd love to read it (and I bet a lot of others will too!)

Re: Do Articles For Businesswomen need to be written differently Re: Do Articles For Businesswomen need to be written differently - I don't think that as a general rule an article [i:11csddi3]needs[/i:11csddi3] to be written "for women." In my opinion, the two important writing rules are: 1) Write for your targeted audience. If it happens to be predominantly women or predominantly men, then write accordingly (if you have the ability to make that distinction in your writing). 2) Write in your own voice. Be natural. If you are a serious writer, your style will become apparent over time and you will develop a following. It may happen that your style is more attractive to one sex or the other. If so, you may be able to advance your writing career by further cultivating your sensitivity within that style. Bottom line: I do believe that certain styles appeal to women, certain styles appeal to men and if you know the distinction, have the ability to write in a particular style and choose to target one sex or the other, then go for it. But I don't think that it is a necessity in today's market. GT :-]
4 Ideas for Viral Marketing 4 Ideas for Viral Marketing - 1. Purchase the branding rights to a viral E-book. Allow people to give away your free E-book to their visitors. Then, their visitors will also give it away. This will just continue to spread your ad all over the Internet. 2. If you have the ability to set up a forum or other bulletin board, you really have a great tool. Allow people to use your online discussion board for their own website. Some people don't have one. Just include your banner ad at the top of the board. 3. Write an E-book. Allow people to place an advertisement in your free E-book if, in exchange, they give away the E-book to their web visitors or E-zine subscribers. 4. Write articles that pertain to your product or service. Allow people to reprint your articles on their website, in their E-zine, newsletter, magazine or E-books. Include your resource box and the option for article reprints at the bottom of each article.
Re: 4 Ways to Go From Employee to Entrepreneur Re: 4 Ways to Go From Employee to Entrepreneur - The situation that Wezi describes is more the norm than the exception. I have spoken to many "entrepreneurs-to-be" that have a desire to work for themselves but can't overcome the fear of making that critical leap. The truth of the matter is, if fear is preventing you from moving forward with your own business you need to overcome that fear first. To do this, try this exercise: 1. Write down as many detailed reasons why you are DISSATISFIED with remaining in your job until you retire. E.g., it won't let you achieve the lifestyle you desire; you are sick of commuting an hour each day; etc. 2. Write down in as much detail as possible your VISION of what your life will be like once you have your own business and you are fully engaged in it. Enjoy this step. 3. Create a list of the action steps you need to actually complete to get things rolling. What do you need to do first? Second? Third? Create a step by step plan. These three steps all work together to overcome any resistance you may feel towards making a major change in your career. If after these exercises, you are still too afraid, look at what you have written down. Chances are one of the three forces for change (dissatisfaction, vision, or first steps) are not yet strong enough to overcome your fear. Perhaps, once you really thought about it, things aren't really that bad in your current career, etc.... Hope this helps.
