You probably have heard or read stories about people who have created a successful home business on the internet. If you have ever wondered if this can be possible for you too, the answer is short. Well, this can. There are literally thousands of examples about people who have made a small fortune on the internet.

You probably have heard about all of the scams that are also out there. Even though you need to be careful that you do not sign up for a scam, there are many legitimate businesses that can truly help you find your niche in the home business world.

When you start a home business it can be a turning point of your life. Having a successful business allows you to quit your day job and this frees up a vast amount of time you can spend with your family, or doing other things that you want to do.

You will not be chained up to any job and you will experience a freedom that you have never felt before. Think about how great it could be to be able to go on holiday whenever you want without anyone's permission.

Because you are able to work whenever want, there are not any dead-lines or set hours when your job have to be accomplished. If there is something going on a certain day and you do not have the time to work, you do not have to. You can do the work on another day when you have more time to do that.

This is a great way to be able to spend your time the way you want it and you can even work around your family's schedule. This will give you an opportunity to do everything you have always wanted to do, but because of the busy lifestyle you have not been able to fulfil. You will never again miss anything in your family's life because you have to be at work.

A home business on the internet can change your life in many ways. Creating your own success makes you feel more confident about yourself which can make a huge difference in your life. You will be in the driver's seat and this can make you feel an independence that you have never felt before.

Re: Hi there - Hi Galuh, Welcome to the forum, you will get plenty of help here and from what you have said, you may have found a niche market there. Starting an Internet business is no different from any other business in as much as if you enjoy it and have knowledge of the subject then so much the better. From what you have said there may well be a market for your idea and it is something that you could start small and test the waters first. Business Innovation - Hi Simon If you can finish off the Business Plan and think about your strategic direction or how you are going to use your product to convince people it's a great idea, it will set the foundation for your programming project. You see, when you are looking for funding you will need a Business Plan and Strategic Plan that will convince companies to invest into your new idea. Has anyone achieved this idea before using another industry besides health and fitness that you know of? You should also design some mockups as a "preview" for your programming project. This will also help reduce your programming costs as everyone will know exactly what you want if you have detailed mockups already completed including any functionality you require. Starting mockups for websites and software applications on paper is the best way if you're not a guru in graphic editing software.

The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,
