It is possible to use many different ways to do this in social sites. For example Twitter allows you to do micro blog posts on anything you want. It also allows you to develop a list of followers that number into the thousands if you want as well.

One way to make money with your Twitter list is to promote your affiliate products directly in updates known as Tweets. The successful internet marketer develops relationships with his followers, and then when they promote an affiliate product a certain percentage of those people purchase it.

2. Another internet based business opportunity you can have fun with and profit at the same time is blogging. You can start a blog on anything that interests you and turn it into a profitable business venture at the same time.

Creating a blog is not hard to do. However, when starting a blog you should host it with your own domain name instead of using the free platforms. A blog is a great opportunity to sell your affiliate marketing products as well.

For example with the GoogleAdsense affiliate program you can place advertising on your blog and get paid whenever someone clicks on one of the ads.

Google takes care of finding the advertisers and they send you a check once a month based on how much money you have earned. This allows you to concentrate on having fun writing blog content about something that interests you.

These are two profitable internet based business opportunities that allow you to have fun and make money at the same time. There are literally thousands of people utilizing these two concepts to make anywhere from a few hundred dollars a month to over $1 million a year.
