Creating a successful business on the internet always requires time to develop and so does this opportunity I am going to talk about in this article. What I am talking about is creating an authority blog in a niche that appeals to you. To successfully do this you want to pick something to write about you have an interest in or possibly even a passion for. It is also possible to choose a niche you know very well and have an expertise as well.

An authority blog is something that contains content that has meaning to it. It also contains a lot of content to the point the person would not want to go anywhere else to learn about the theme of the blog.

This requires you to write articles on a regular basis on different topics within the niche of your blog. You can also hire writers to do this for you and increase your content at a faster rate.

You should also add content to your blog which makes it more attractive and interactive for your visitors. This is easily done today with the help of YouTube videos, audio marketing, discussion polls, graphics, and so on.

What you are doing is creating a blog that is so exciting that people will want to subscribe to your RSS feed, or to bookmark it and come back on a regular basis. There is a great advantage of doing this because you have not only a bunch of people following your updates, but also fun at the same time.

From a monetary standpoint there are numerous ways you can make money creating an internet home based business with your authority blog. When your blog gets enough traffic, one easy way to make money is selling advertising. Again this will take some time to get to that point, but there are people earning six and seven figure incomes doing nothing more than blogging and selling advertising on their blog.

You can also monetize it with affiliate programs including banners to the programs you represent, or pay per click programs such as Google Adsense. You earn a commission always when someone purchases a product or clicks an ad.

Starting an authority blog is definitely an excellent opportunity to build a successful internet home based business. However, you need to give it time to grow to the level you want.

You have a smaller group that Blog, but do so on the premise that they think they should, but have never really considered the purpose of their Blog. Then I think there are a few SEO or Internet Marketing types that see Blogging as just another link building strategy. But the largest group of Bloggers, tend to be people who enjoy writing and discussing their topics of interest. Blogging is good for link building, but the true Blogger is a breed apart from the rest. They want to dialog, to debate, to have feedback and they are very willing to link to other worthwhile conversations that are relevant to their topic. I agree with you. These group of Bloggers obviously are passionate about their writing and together, they create huge conversation trails interactive and travel from Blog to Blog. But the evidence is clear with this group that loves what they write about. With comments enabled on a Blog and having a Blog tuned to a specific purpose you already have the evidence of original Social Media.

But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time.
