What I consider to be the ultimate internet home business is doing email marketing. If you are unfamiliar with how this business model works as an email marketer you send out product offers to an opt-in list and make money when they purchase products from you.
Here are a few key reasons why this works so very well.
1. Firstly, with an opt-in list you can earn money, not only today, but also well in the future. You have an access to your list when ever you want. It will also be much easier to make money in the future if you already have a list of people who are interested in products you have.
2. Having your own email marketing list allows you to promote any product at any time you want. If you come across something hot you want to let people know about you just blast out an email message to your list. It is not that easy to do when you are building a website and trying to get traffic to it.
3. This becomes the ultimate internet home business because you can do it from home or anywhere you can access the internet. You just need to go online and start promoting stuff to your subscribers.
4. It is very easy to create an opt-in list on the internet today. You can drive traffic to splash pages and capture names and email addresses for follow up that way. You can also purchase leads in bulk through co-registration and build a larger list more quickly.
5. You can automate the whole process using an auto responder which is an automatic way to send out email. It is also possible to program your autoresponder that the pre-written messages are sent out automatically at various times so you do not have to worry about that either.
6. Social networking is very big and email marketing is a great way to build relationships with people. You get to know them as more than just a name and email address which allows you to develop credibility and trust.
Here were some assets why email marketing in my opinion is the ultimate internet home business. If you really want to make it big, creating your own opt-in list will most certainly pay off and make you a lot of income on the internet for years to come.
