Use The Internet To Retire With Multiple Streams Of Income

With the economy in a one of the worst recessions in recent history many people are beginning to worry about their retirement savings. While there are several methods to secure ones future retirement income, many are looking at the Internet as a possible solution.

Multiple streams of income is a philosophy made popular by Robert G. Allen and is designed specifically for the Internet. Now that people are beginning to realize that their 401K’s are not as safe as the once thought the idea of having as many sources of income as possible is more important than ever.

Having your own website is the first thing that you will need. Many people realize this and seem amazed that it even has to mentioned. However, the large majority of people will sign up for a affiliate marketing program and expect to start securing their retirement income without this one basic element of having a Internet home business. It is possible to make money on the Internet without a website. Many of the so called gurus of marketing will tell you that all you need to do is post a link in a few blogs and forums and the cash will come rolling in. While these methods do work the fact is that a website of your own to channel all of income streams through is needed if you truly expect to start earning supplemental retirement income.

Once you have a website set up your focus should be developing a product or service of your own. This should eventually become your main income stream with other products and services being offered that compliment your main product. Offering something of your own will differentiate you from the rest and be a key selling point.

A website with no traffic is useless. All of your efforts should be be to drive traffic to your Internet home business. The idea being to drive targeted traffic to your website and not an affiliate link. Once on your site your visitors will have the opportunity to choose from more than one option.

When they get to your site, hit them with a free offer that induces your visitors to sign up to your mailing list so that you can contact them again. Follow up by sending them the link to their free bonuses and return to the theme of the advertisement that first attracted them to your site - most likely your primary product or service.

Don’t just hit your subscribers with sales material. Give them useful advice and valuable freebies. You are seeking to cultivate a long term relationship, so don’t give the impression that you are in a hurry to flog some cheap gear off the back of a truck - it won’t work!

Once you have sufficient traffic that opens the door for another opportunity to make money with your website. By placing classified ads or banners in strategic places on your site you can earn commissions when someone simply clicks one.

Another source of supplemental retirement income can be generated by selling ebooks. This method is actually quite simple and profitable. You can place all the information from the articles and newsletters you have written for your website into one ebook that you can sell on your site as well as on other websites. Each book sold will also come complete with links back to your website and affiliate links inside.

If done properly Robert G. Allen’s system of creating multiple streams of income will help those looking for a way to earn supplemental retirement income. As this recession wears on more and more people will be looking for a source of income and by starting a Internet home business now you will be in a place to take advantage of the situation.

Revenue Streams for Websites Revenue Streams for Websites - Too funny, I was just reading a book: Multiple Streams of Internet Income: How Ordinary People make extraordinary money on line, by Robert G. Allen. 2001 That's a misnomer, though - they're not ordinary people, they're people with established careers who can take their expertise and exploit it on the web. Ways to generate income? 1) Sell your own material on the site. Ebooks, etc. 2) Join various affiliate programs that match what your website is about. 3) Google adsense - All my money comes from this... it's started out slow but as readership of my sites grown, the income has grown. Nothing to write home about yet... 4) Google adwords - the advertisers whose ads show up on Google Adsense. Unless you're selling big ticket items on your site you don't want to use it, your keywords can cost from 20 cents upwards.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

The top three things for me are: 1. Maintaining a 6 figure income year in and year out. 2. Creating and promoting my own products. 3. Income not solely dependent upon my personal effort. Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1) 3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids Now that is "feel good work".

Choosing a title that has no relation to the content on the page Using extremely lengthy titles that are unhelpful to users Using a single title tag across all of your site’s pages or a large group of pages Stuffing unneeded keywords in your title tags Writing description meta tag that has no relation to the content on the page Multiple domains Multiple identical sites Cross Linking[/quote:1y3g8bot] re: Cross Linking, how do you define that? I thought linking to other pages on your website (that are related) was a good thing...maybe that's not what you meant.
