Hope For The Jobless: How One Woman Turned Getting Laid Off Into More Than Just a Blessing in Disguise!

$800 tax rebates, Stimilus packages, Billion dollar bailouts...Is that the Cure for being laid off? Will it heal and abate recession woes?

Recession, Job Cuts, Downsizing, Outsourcing...These are all words that we dread, they were the Buzz Words of 2008! Ask the voters in Michigan...they know a thing or two...and yet they could very well the best word uttered! Gone are the days of working for the same company, great pension at the end of it all. But this is not news! I didn't expect to be out of a job! I worked in the service industry (a teen counselor), so it wasn't a question of need. There will always be an opportunity to work with children. When it came to dedication, punctuality, being able to perceive the need even before it arose...I was your girl! I was and continue to be the dream employee...in before the rest, last one to leave and always at work!

I didn't think I would be the one to get the axe, few people believe it will happen to them. And when it does, the effect can be crashing and crushing! But is doesn't have to be! It wasn't so much that I was laid off as it was a realization for me that I could do better and the opportunity had just presented itself in a manner I had not anticipated! What a blessing, what a God send!

I was able to make ends meet through an alternative stream of income that I had been establishing via the home-based business industry. I often asked myself why I was the one that got axed...and I know you are too. I came to the understanding that I had to go because I was the most resourceful of my cohorts. If anyone could make I could. And so can you. In my heart, I knew that there was a very bright light at the end of the tunnel. Things would get better sooner rather than later.

One early November morning (2007), at precisely 3:00am MST, I woke knowing precisely and clearly the course of action I needed to pursue! Clear in my mind were the words Internet Marketing for Financial Freedom. The excitement I felt and vision of what was going to be cannot be quantified. (It should be noted that I had been doing research for while...inspiration like success does not happen overnight, but one night it does happens)!

You see my alternative stream of income came from coaching others relative to being successful working from home, in their home based business...I had taken some intensive courses and learned a great deal about internet marketing, enough that I could guide others that were struggling. I had some online presence, and a very enterprising lady discovered me so to speak. No I did not end up working with her, but she set me on the path for the adventure of a lifetime!

Now I get to work from home! What I love best is I don't have to worry about getting fired! Funny thing, I fire myself at least twice a month (there are days I get lazy and become the mediocre employee that everyone dreads)! I find that I am also very kind and gracious and so I end up re-hiring myself after many promises of me bringing my A game!

Well did Henry David Thoreau write, when he said, "If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them. The foundation for my success has been laid. I will not have to attend a job interview again. I will never have to persuade someone to hire me or give me a chance. I love to work from home! I will, as a woman, never have to worry about security again. I look forward to one day joining the ranks of Work/Stay-At-Home-Moms! How thankful I am for being fired! Indeed internet marketing for financial freedom!

Following are 5 specific steps that virtually ANYONE can courageously follow to achieve internet marketing success:

1. Get started in a product oriented internet marketing business and not a service oriented business.

2. Get an internet marketing mentor, and if they are a techy even better (one who is making an income of $5000 thousand/monthly on the internet and therefore will be a good mentor).

3. Develop yourself to the tune of at least 10 hours a week learning things you don't know about internet marketing (Much better than the 40-40-40 club you know 40 hour/week, $40,000/yr for 40 years)!

4. Use powerful systems along with your instincts and hard work - (Wasn't Einstein the one who defined madness as doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results?) Give yourself permission to think outside the box).

5. Don't turn around once you make the commitment and the results will change your life as you know it in a short period of time.

Give your family the positioning you all deserve by taking your life out of your employer's hands and stepping into the world of internet marketing while it is still a ground floor opportunity. You have my commitment to assisting you in achieving great success.

Yet a few days ago, he was complaining that the bailout was stopped as a conspiracy to bring down the union. Its been interesting to hear the differences between the auto worker situations in the south and the auto workers in the north - also interesting to note that auto makers in the south are still making money. One report said that one of the big 3 auto makers and Hundai or Nissan actually grossed the same amount last year - one is making money and one needs billions. Hmmmmm... makes you think. Chris
