Home Business Expert: How To Link To Other Websites

Kick start a home-business where you take all the decisions and decide how much to work instead of being the work-slave of others who profit at the cost of your valuable efforts! As a home-business owner you must understand the importance of linking to other websites because this will help you immensely in your online business. As you learn how to link to other websites, you will gradually become an expert in this. So are you ready to start learning how to link to other websites?

How to link to other websites: Tricks revealed!

To realize the importance of linking to other websites you need to observe quite a few things. The first thing about linking to a page is to check whether the topic of that page is relevant to that of yours or not. If so, then it is worth linking. You will also need to check the Page Rank (PR) of that page. PR is Google’s way of calculating how important a web page is. Ideally you want to link only with high PR websites.

How to link to other websites – the step by step guide

•Begin by making a database of all websites that are related to your business (even though any link will be useful, but the value of an incoming link is that much more.)
•Once you have made this database, now do a check of their PR (Page Rank, which is Google’s way of measuring the importance of a web page.) Only accept any website that has a PR of 4 or more.
•It is no good if the website is not into exchanging links – so check whether it does so or not. Most websites have a “links” page where you will find the external links.
•Once your final list is ready, you are all set to start linking to other websites. Create a text (1 to 2 sentences) that you will want to have beside the link.
•Now place a link to the website from yours and then ask for a link back (this is necessary because most websites will not link to you unless you have first linked to them).
•After about a week check whether the website had linked to you or not – if not send a reminder.
•Check after another week and if the website has still not linked back, then remove the link from your website.

And if the website has linked back, you have successfully linked to another website.

Benefits of linking

The benefits of linking are many…

• It increases your PR in Google.
• Linking enhances your search engine visibility.
• Linking also helps you get online visitors as browsers may click on your link and come to your website.

Knowing how to link to other websites is very important when you want to make your website stand out in the search engines. Achieving this can be very important for a home business.

Re: Service Or Product? Re: Service Or Product? - I agree with starting a Service-based Business in the economy. Here is what I think is critical: 1. Researching that your Service business has a market. 2. Marketing the Service with as much leverage as possible. 3. Product-izing the Service (aka Package Expert Knowledge). This will only help elevate you as "the" expert in your niche and make you accessible to people in different price points.
