Multiple streams of income mean having an income from more than one source. In today’s world, to live a comfortable lifestyle and have the things you desire, you need a lot of money. But for most people, this remains a dream that is not fulfilled because the money they earn in their job does not meet the true requirements.
To achieve most things in life we need multiple streams of income. To amass wealth in today’s economy, you need to have multiple streams of income. Have you always wanted to go on that long vacation to some exotic location or wanted to buy that new villa that they show on TV? For most people, these are dreams that remain dreams and the only reason for this is lack of funds. Now this is where earning multiple streams of income can help you – this extra money at last gives you the ability to expand the possibilities and lead life to the fullest.
And the good news is, multiple streams of income are very easy to attain and thousands across the world are doing just this. Many are earning multiple streams of income while they are still employed in their full time jobs and there are those who have the confidence to even leave their jobs and start their own home business feeling that this will make their income grow even more.
You can also start your own business and earn multiple streams of income. Yes this is very much a possibility. Did you know that thousands of people all over the world right now, as you are reading this, are prospering from the many opportunities out there, and many of them are able to lead their lives in the way they want – all because of their multiple streams of income.
There is every reason why you can also be successful. After all, when thousands of people can, why can’t you? Do you surf the Internet? Do you want to start your own home based business? Do you wish to be your own boss? Do you want unlimited money? If your answers to these questions are ‘yes’ then you are ready to begin, and you are ready to earn multiple streams of income.
Starting a work from home business need not be a dream for you anymore. There are countless opportunities that are out there – you just need to find one that is suitable for you and one that can give you enough money. And this is not a difficult job at all.

That's a misnomer, though - they're not ordinary people, they're people with established careers who can take their expertise and exploit it on the web.
Ways to generate income?
1) Sell your own material on the site. Ebooks, etc.
2) Join various affiliate programs that match what your website is about.
3) Google adsense - All my money comes from this... it's started out slow but as readership of my sites grown, the income has grown. Nothing to write home about yet...
4) Google adwords - the advertisers whose ads show up on Google Adsense. Unless you're selling big ticket items on your site you don't want to use it, your keywords can cost from 20 cents upwards.
Re: Service Or Product?
- I agree with starting a Service-based Business in the economy. Here is what I think is critical:
1. Researching that your Service business has a market.
2. Marketing the Service with as much leverage as possible.
3. Product-izing the Service (aka Package Expert Knowledge). This will only help elevate you as "the" expert in your niche and make you accessible to people in different price points.

- Here is my financial management categories for today:
15% Long Term Savings;
10% Home Expenses;
45% Business and Marketing charges;
10% Friends (Meeting);
20$ Scientific and Law Books.
But this will change when it is August or September.

I would have to say mine were:
1. Monthly Residual Income that exceeds all expenses by 110%
2. Free time to create and promote my own products (relies on #1)
3. 5% of all revenues generated by my team going to feed starving kids
Now that is "feel good work".

- this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody.
2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto.
3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book
Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
