Job security all but disappeared in Canada after the last recession in 1991. Employers wary of unpredictable economic conditions started outsourcing and contracting as many jobs as possible to trim costs. In the blink of an eye, the perception of job security was revealed as a very weak concept. When times are tough and the economy is in flux, every business that is looking for ways to decrease expenses will consider downsizing and are prepared to lay off employees.

A dwindling job market brings about fierce competition for the job openings that still exist. Companies are more discerning when choosing new employees. People with a well rounded education and a wealth of experience are more attractive to employers than younger employees with less experience or training. Many employers today are favoring potential employees who have post secondary and continuing education in their employment field.

A large segment of the workforce believes that layoffs will affect their industry and probably their livelihood. Roughly one third of the workforce is worried about their financial future. Many are looking at ways to supplement or replace their incomes now before they get their pink slips are issued. Business opportunity online is an option for anyone with the desire to succeed. The entrepreneurial spirit is kindled and employees are looking to beat the recession with their own home based business.

Marketing online with a home based business, like any other career, requires a commitment to learning and putting the knowledge into action. There are "secrets" to learn, and "actions" to take to keep moving to the next level in business and in life. The greatest secret that I learned is that working online in a home based business doesn't mean you are working alone. People, just like you, have been my greatest inspiration. It has not always been easy, but it has been fun! Raising a family, working full time offline, and part time online presents many challenges. Balance is the greatest challenge and the greatest reward. 858-926-5445 Skype ID: paulette3679
