Web pages - Create a web site and web pages that you can submit to social bookmarking sites. Be creative and make them enticing non-commercial pages on your site. People will start to visit and bookmark your site which will increase its ranking and attract even more people.

Tracking - Use a tracking system to evaluate your web site. It is important to track everything from how many people visit to how many actually click on one of your links for more information and everything in between. Tracking helps you identify what you are doing right and what you could be doing better.

Marketing online with a home based business, like any other career, requires a commitment to learning and putting the knowledge into action. There are "secrets" to learn, and "actions" to take to keep moving to the next level in business and in life. The greatest secret that I learned is that working online in a home based business doesn't mean you are working alone. People, just like you, have been my greatest inspiration. It has not always been easy, but it has been fun! Raising a family, working full time offline, and part time online presents many challenges. Balance is the greatest challenge and the greatest reward. 858-926-5445 Skype ID: paulette3679

Re: What or Who Sparks Your Business Interest Re: What or Who Sparks Your Business Interest - Hi This is really a great thread. For me it was always wanting to be responsible for myself without anyone have the power to make my decisions for me. I have also done many different things in my life. Started as a hairdresser and did that for 20 years, some of them working from home (which was good when my children were young and needed me around). Then worked as a bookkeeper and then a credit manager in a video distribution company for 18 years. Loved the job but hated having to answer to a boss. In between joined an MLM company selling health and weight loss products and then became a bookkeeper again but working for myself with my own clients. Started internet marketing and this I truly love. I can work the hours that suit me and it's totally up to me to do the work if I want to succeed. MichelleJ
