One thing you need to remember when owning an internet home business is the importance of testing and tracking your internet home business results and statistics. This article will give you some tips and ideas for testing and tracking your internet business statistics. When you are the owner of any business offline or internet business you must keep an eye on your business and learn to test and track your results. This way you can learn your business performance and use this information to get better results.

-Install a small code on your website an blog so you can learn where your traffic is coming from, which website is sending you traffic, which keyword generated the traffic to your site, which country this traffic come from, which operating system they use, which browser and what resolution.

By having this information you can learn on which promotion to focus more and which one to drop.

-Use the information to learn what your prospects love to see. You can check their path: on which web page they landed (entered your website), to which pages they moved and on which page they left your site.

I they left your website through an affiliate link, then you did a good job, and now it's your affiliate program's job to make the sale.

-Learn which webpage converts better, and which program gets more clicks. Create several links to the same page and use them on different ads. This will make it easier for you to track your visitors' path and learn which ad works best, and edit the ones that don't work.

-Some affiliate programs, have their own tracking system and allow you to insert a tracking code to your affiliate link and use it to learn where your clicks and your affiliates are coming from.

-There are many different systems to help you test and track your links and the ads you put on different websites, some of these system are free and some are paid, but all have the same idea behind them. You get a code to paste on your web pages and the systems collect all the information for you.

It doesn't matter which system you choose to use, and how you use it, provided that you remember the importance of testing and tracking your internet home business results, and apply it to grow your internet home business.
