Many people want to start an internet home business and make money online. Many people also already have a blog. Since the internet is growing very fast, today we can find many homes with a computer and internet connection, and this make the way to start an internet home business is very short.

A blog is a free and easy way to start an internet home business. There are many blog platforms, the most popular ones are blogger.com and wordpress.com, both are very easy to start and use.

You start by registering a new blog. You need a user name, a password and a blog title. When you choose your blog title try to optimize it for the search engines from the start, using your chosen keywords in the blog title.

The next step is to build your profile, write something about yourself, your new business and products, and add a link to your main page.

There are two ways you can earn money from your blog. The first one is by adding content and modifying the blog template by adding banners to your affiliate programs and products. Each blog platform will provide you with a basic blog template. To this template you can add all your links and images, and also add a form to capture subscribers for a newsletter. You can change the header to your own image, and edit the side bar by adding all your important links and promotions.

The other way is behind the scenes. Here you will modify the template by adding Meta tags. The Meta tags are located in the blog header, and they are used by the search engines. When you edit the Meta tags, use your chosen keywords in the blog title, description and write all the keywords which describe your blog.

Now it's time to blog. Use your blog to add useful content on a regular basis. The search engines love new content and when you are using a blog it is also easy. When you log in to your blog account you click on the "add new post" link and you will be directed to an online editor, type your text, modify it, add links and images, and make it your own.

When you are adding new content make sure to make it search engine friendly and optimize it by making it keyword rich.

One more thing you can do to earn money from your blog is adding pay per click to it, and earn money from people clicking on the links on your blog.

After you set up your blog submit it to blog directories to gain backlinks and use social bookmarking to promote it and each of your posts.

If you make sure to blog on a regular basis your blog will gain traffic and you will see the results and your internet home business will grow.

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategy - Hi David, I agree about the Blogosphere. You have a smaller group that Blog, but do so on the premise that they think they should, but have never really considered the purpose of their Blog. Then I think there are a few SEO or Internet Marketing types that see Blogging as just another link building strategy. But the largest group of Bloggers, tend to be people who enjoy writing and discussing their topics of interest. Blogging is good for link building, but the true Blogger is a breed apart from the rest. They want to dialog, to debate, to have feedback and they are very willing to link to other worthwhile conversations that are relevant to their topic. I agree with you. These group of Bloggers obviously are passionate about their writing and together, they create huge conversation trails interactive and travel from Blog to Blog. But the evidence is clear with this group that loves what they write about. With comments enabled on a Blog and having a Blog tuned to a specific purpose you already have the evidence of original Social Media.
