How to Build a List Using PLR Content

Every internet marketer will say that you must have your own list of subscribers. "The money is in the list," as they say. This is very true. Having your own list of subscribers can make a huge impact on your business.

I'm not going to bore you about the many benefits though, because I want to explain to you how to build a list of subscribers in as little as a week using PLR content.

The best part about all of this is that it will not cost you a single cent. You read that correctly; you won't have to pay anything at all. It isn't hard and will only require some effort on your part. I will show you step-by-step how you can do this.

To start, you must have your own product. Now I know what you're thinking, but if you stay with me for a minute I will explain how you can do this in as little as 30 minutes. If you can spare just 30 minutes, and you should since this is your business we're talking about, then you can do this.

The key is getting your hands on some PLR content. PLR is simply Private Lable Rights content that you have the right to do whatever you want to it. You can get articles, ebooks, software and whatever else you can think of.

I chose to create an ebook from a Word document. I will outline the steps I took to accomplish this and then explain how to build a list from your new product.

1. I opened the document and read through the information, correcting any spelling and grammar errors. This step is important as many times there are errors that need corrected. I added a personal note and a picture of myself. I also put my website address in the footer of every page, this is part of branding yourself.

2. Then I converted the document into a PDF document, known as an ebook. I fine-tuned the details and layout until everything looked the way I wanted it. I gave my new ebook a name and saved it. There are many free PDF converters or printer drivers available on the internet.

3. Then I wanted to create a graphic for my ebook. I have Photoshop so I got a hold of some very nice action scripts to create a professional looking ebook cover. Action scripts are great if you're not familiar with all the editing tools that Photoshop has to offer. If you don't have Photoshop there are free picture editors that will do pretty much the same thing that these scripts will do. You'll just have to do some searching to find them.

4. Once I got the graphic created I uploaded the ebook and graphic to my server. This shouldn't take more than one or two minutes depending on how big your files are.

5. My ebook is done, and now it's time for me to start promoting it. I created a blog post with a direct download link to my ebook, talked about it on Twitter, provided a link to my blog post, advertised in forums and sent an email out to my list.

Those are the main steps I took to create my ebook from PLR content and promote it. However, we are not done. That promotion as you will soon see didn't gain me any subscribers at all.

This may seem crazy to some, but I didn't ever ask for a single name or email address. I just provided a link for them to directly download my ebook.

You may be wondering then how I managed to get over 165 subscribers in less than a week. Yep, you read that right. The simple answer on how to build a list with your new product is JV Giveaways.

I added my ebook to a JV Giveaway promotion, and I advertised the promotion as well using the same methods above. This has to be one of the fastest ways I have seen to build your list. The best part is you can do this absolutely free.

So that's how to build a list using PLR content. It's been over a week, but I'm still getting new names and email addresses being added to my list. It doesn't get much easier than that.

Then comes the Content followed by the Friends and looks. Most of do social networking to attract traffic to their website(s) and as such the Content and Popularity of the site are important. btw, the list doesn't have digg or netscape or del.is.us which are the top social media sites.
Re: Great start, but no finish - My advise is FOCUS on your business. Focusing is the main factor to succeed on business. If you have a great idea, then follow it only, don't look anywhere else. It is especially essential in an online business. Because there are a lot of mind blowing sales letters promising millions dolllars or overnight success, people find it difficult to concentrate on one business and they lose their energy. Concept is simple. 1- Have a good idea; 2- Build your business on it; 3- Monetize your business; 4- Promote it; 5- Build list of responsive customers; 6- Maintain You Business. Re: How do you make the most of your day? - Here are a couple things I do to get lots done. First, I work from a weekly To Do List (although I should call it an Action List) rather than a daily list. Each item on the list must be one specific action required to move one step closer to accomplishing or finishing something. It's similar to what Robert Alan talks about. Each day I prioritize 3 actions that must be completed before the end of the day. I fully commit to those actions. Second, when I really need to focus on something to get the most done possible I work in timed 50 minute increments. That may sound a little loopy but it really works for me plus I feel refreshed working that way. So I literally have a little timer on my desktop that I set to count down from 50 minutes to zero. During that 50 minutes I work without interruption. When the timer goes off I stop whatever I'm doing and take a 10 minute break. You can get an incredible amount of work done working that way without feeling like you're working hard. I don't schedule 8 of those 50 minute time periods because there isn't a need to plus I'm sure you would wear out if you did. If you haven't tried this you might want to give it a try setting just two 50 minute time periods for a couple days and fiercely keeping them without interruptions to see what I mean.
