Is Making Money Online Even Possible?

This could get a wide range of responses depending on who you ask. The answer is really specific to each individual. In general, it's quite possible to make very good money online. Making money online to some is completely unheard of, and they will profess that it's impossible for anyone to do so.

You shouldn't listen to these naysayers. As I said, it relies solely on each individual. It certainly isn't impossible as there are thousands of people making money online right now. For some, however, it is impossible because they're just too lazy to do the work necessary. I know it may sound harsh, but it's true.

Some people just aren't cut out for making money online. It requires a lot of time, energy and focus. The amount of work and energy needed could easily exceed that of an actual job. Only those that are willing to stick to it no matter what will be successful and make money online.

The others who just can't seem to make it work will say that it's impossible for anyone to make it work. This clearly isn't the case and will depend entirely on how much you really want to make money online for yourself.

You'll need to separate yourself from the crowd so to speak. Take yourself beyond the "impossible" and do whatever is necessary for you to achieve your dreams. Only you are capable of making this happen for yourself to make any kind of money online.

I must warn you, though; it won't be easy, so don't be naive and listen to all the hype. As I said earlier, it will be hard work. Don't worry; it won't be manual labor or anything like that. You'll be required to plan, learn and apply what you learn in order to make money online. It's really only as hard as you make it.

If you believe anything at all, believe that it IS possible, and believe in yourself to make it happen. There is some learning involved, but if you're able to read, absorb and then apply yourself, you'll do well.

The best thing to do is gather all the free information you can. I suggest you keep everything organized so that it will be easier to go back through later. It doesn't hurt to spend some money to educate yourself either. Just make sure to do some research first.

There are many different paths you can take when making money online. It's best to find an area that you're most interested in and then pursue that. Making money online will be easier for you when you have a passion for the area that you're working in.

Re: Which would you start: a Blog or Online Community? - It is a difficult decision to make. Lets start it this way - What are you more interested in? Money? or Friends? or Both? If its purely Money, then Blog might be an appropriate answer. But consider this - It will be people (visitors) that will bring traffic to your blog and then Money will follow. This will be possible after a time and during this time it will be your friends who will be the starters. If you are looking for friends only, then its true that not many will be interested in knowing how you have beaten them in the game or the other way round. So it will be preferable to have a Forum where they can share ideas with you and others. But you can share your insider knowledge with them and invite comments from your Blog. You can also put up information on what others (including your friends) don't know about Tennis. The blog you create can provide News, Inside Information and also Techniques that can be used by the new entrants in the world of Tennis.
QuickBooks vs. Microsoft Money vs....? - I have always used Microsoft Money to run my business - accounting, invoicing, etc. It came with my computer when I got it and integrated well with my online banking system so everything is a breeze. It only takes 30-60 minutes every quarter to do the bookkeeping (keep in mind that I have a very simple business - no inventory, very little invoicing, I do all my payments by credit card, etc). Is QuickBooks or Money the best accounting tool for small business owners? Or is there something even better?
Magnetic Ads - Biz Idea - Attn Young Entrepreneurs looking for a Business Idea. This came to me while sitting in Traffic for about 1 hour while looking and laughing at ridiculous bumper stickers. Note: this idea is rough but will help get the idea-momentum going. Idea: Sell advertising on the back of cars in the form of reusable magnetic signs (about the length of 2 or 3 bumper stickers) Most people shouldn't have reservations to participating if they get a cut of the monthly fee you charge the company advertising and it doesn't hurt their car. An example of a Magnetic Ad: Geico: I saved 15% on my Car Insurance. Call 1-800-U-SAVE-15 You don't have to pay the cost associated with creating the Magnetic Ad because you will advise the company that this belongs to them and you can get them in touch with someone who created reusable magnets. So your basically managing two sides: 1. Company's that want to advertise 2. People in your neighborhood (to start) who will put the ads on their car. Bigger cars can have more than one ad.
